Happy new week needlework lovers. It is ýet another week to show case my little work and i am so happy that i made it to this week. How was your weekend you all. I hope that you really enjoyed every bit of it. Well i know that this week is going to be good and you all will enjoy every bit of it.
Well a little story behind this snail making. Inspired by one of the works i saw here and also for my childs schools work. In the little note he was told that the parent of the child should show their child what snail looks like. So since it is in my nature to explore and make new things like this and apart from that i saw what one of us made here i decided to give it a trial.
Now in my own case i decided to use four differnt colours to identiful the shell.
Materials
Scissors
Needle
Black beads
Green colour wool
Yellow colour wool
White colour woòl
Orange colour wool
Down to the process.
We have slip stitch, double crochet , single crochet and chains to help accomplish this work
I started with making a magic circle and thereby putting 12 double crochet inside the migic circle, from the i pull the first wool out for the circle to join together.
Next i change the colour of the wool to yellow colour i repeated the double crochet on top of the first row. I did a double of the first row which eventually will give me a total of 24 double crochet.
The third row was still same double crochet but with a differnt colours which i will make and addition of extra 12 double crochet on the 24 double crochet making it a total of 36 double crochet and we were done with the first three row.
Up to the next row.
This is where the real job is inside.
We will go by doing a single crochet with the orange colour till some extent and i will concerntrate with doing the eyes and the heads. I will used single chain, double crochet and a slip stitch to archieved this. After putitng the head and the eye i will return back with a single crochet to the begining of the yellow wool again so thaf i can put the bom bom side and end the project there.
This was just for practice i believe that next time i will do it better.
Best regards you all. Happy monday once again needlework monday
