Process of making Back pocket on pant trouser

Good day everyone Happy new week and Happy new month 😊

I want to share with you all back pocket on a pant trouser, Which I make two pair of it
Here is the process.

I hold the back DART which is to shapen the waist, from the back center crotch line I measured 4.5inches and the DART length is 3.5inches .

After that I added paper stay or you can use hem stay for durability at the point of where you want the pocket to be which will be from the ending point of the dart to 2.5 length and 5inches wildness for guming the stay.

After then you will cut 5inches of widness and the length 3inches in two places and add the stay on half of it to make it strong.

After that on the trouser at the point I added stay on earlier I measured the wide size of the pocket which is 4.5inches like this bekow 👇

The two pieces I added stay on, I placed it each on the line and sew it straight.
so that's how I will sew it round, quarter from the centre to up and quarter from the centre to down that's how I got the shape out. below 👇

After sewing I cut out the middle part straight to create the pocket edge. But the cutting will not reach the end at the both side, I cut it slantedd at both side.

I pull it inside back to the wrong side and push it up l to fill the space like this below 👇 and we'll ironed to make it lay

After that I proceed on stitches the edge of slant cutting I make earlier. Sew it inside on the pocket edge.

I added the back pocket to it which is 10inches length and 5inches widness. Inside to cover it then sew it round it.

Then I make a hole for the button to secure the pocket and added button to it.

Remember I stated it up there that I make two pair of the trouser, navel blue and bottle Green that's why there's two different of material up there.
