Oh I love this SO MUCH! I have, myself, recently picked p the needles and am to, hooked! I am not crocheting but knitting. However, I believe it has the same positive effect on our mental health. Creating gifts for our loved ones and the actual creative process work wonders. And I absolutely LOVE your Bats and cats!!!!
It really does, I would be way more kookypooks than I already am if not for these little creative distractions. Creating gifts is definitely the best part of it, no better way to show love than to spend hours crafting something for someone.
I have tried knitting but honestly.... I'm awful at it, hope we'll get to see many of the awesome things you knit on here though.
I totally agree! I suppose that's why I enjoy baking as well. I used to make beautiful dream catchers. Perhaps that's something I'll pick up again in the summer,
Baking is always fun, I miss it. We seem to have some similar interests 😅 used to like making those too.

Our honorary great-niece (complicated - she's my wife's sister's husband's daughter from his first marriage, but we've made sure she's treated totally as part of the family) for Christmas made a basket with two crocheted cats, one looking like each of our two. Duncan always likes to sleep next to the crochet version of himself 😍
That is absolutely adorable, such a sweet and thoughtful gift, I always like people who appreciate cats and crochet, she sounds great.
I am actually planning on making semi realistic versions of all our cats. Floki, the youngest, likes to sleep on top of them.
