Hello everyone!
I hope you’re all doing well and having a wonderful day. I’m doing great myself. The weather today has been absolutely lovely.
We had heavy rain during the day, which made everything feel so refreshing and calm. On top of that, my exam went pretty well, so I was already in a good mood.
It felt like the perfect day to unwind and finally finish a little crochet project I had been working on which is this adorable duck! I actually started crocheting it two or three days ago, but with my busy university schedule, I couldn’t find enough time to complete it. Thankfully, today I finally managed to sit down, relax, and give it the attention it deserved.
I’m so thrilled with how it turned out
It looks even cuter than I imagined! I genuinely can’t stop admiring it. I think I’ve become slightly obsessed. It always feels so satisfying to see a project come together after putting in the effort and patience. Crocheting truly is the best way to de-stress after a hectic day.

Last time when I crocheted a strawberry, I was so demotivated and anxious of how it turned out so I was not attempting to make any big project from that day.But for this duck,I challenged myself to make it as good as I can and here it is.Honestly,It really motivated me and removed all the self doubts that I had.
Starting the process,I started with making the head first which was a pretty time consuming and long pattern.

Then I added eyes with black yarn and made the mouth with yellow yarn. When I attached it with UHU instead of sewing it cause I am so bad with needle.

Then after completing it my back was already hurting so bad so I closed it and started studying for my paper.Today, after completing my paper,I started the body part. The pattern was mg,7sc then inc, then 1sc and inc, then 2sc and inc, then sc for 4rows,then sc and dec until you reach the end.

Then I made hands and legs. Now all my parts are ready and I attached them to the head.

After completing the duck,I made the hat for my duck.I used green color yarn and added red flower on top.The pattern included dc.At last I added these two strains to my hat and tied it in around the neck and honestly I am so impressed with myself at this point.
I was like what did I made it?I just loved it you guys.
