Below is how I made turned an old female flower top to a beautiful African kaftan

You can see how it looks from the previous sewing and weaving threads all over it. Since my guy and the sister are not same size I had to attach material side by side to increase the measurement and to do this we considered a color that'll blend the flower designs on the fabric. I also used it cut out the back and sleeves. Yeah we considered wine and black, he bought a black fabric as it'll blend in more since black seems to match basically anything.

And this is what I arrived at after cutting the front and back, I shaped it this way to give it a good look as my friend was more concerned on the flower fabric which in essence is the main attraction and reason we're doing this combination in the first place so I want the design to appear without disruption that's why I shaped it that way and no pocket
I added a zipper at the shoulder for adjustment and easy to put on, you can see it's taking shape and it really don't require much work or designs as it has all it takes already. What's left now is to hang the sleeves.

Now It's ready. This is not really an official work from a customer so I didn't have time to take a clearer shot with the mannequin. The only thing that matters is my guy was happy that he got what he wants and I always deliver.
Just look at how we turned a rag to a beautiful piece.
So my friend said he has this fancy old cloth from his sister that she's no longer wearing but the material is beautiful and ask if I can turn it to something beautiful

I obliged of course it's my area of expertise and I swung into action, sorry the above picture was when I've already tore out the front of the top. And below is where I placed the front to pattern the side by side then cut out the back too

It turned out to be a beautiful outfit. It is good to see how you made this. Keep up the good work! Thanks!
