¡Saludos! en esta ocasión les comparto el proceso de creación de un amigurumi con forma de dinosaurio de cuello largo.
Greetings! This time I share the process of creating an long-necked dinosaur amigurumi.
La idea se me ocurrió porque todos los días mi hijo hace que mida su estatura diciendome que él quiere crecer hasta llegar al marco de la puerta, yo siempre le respondo que debe esperar, que cada día él crece un poco más. Esto me hizo pensar en que los dinosaurios de cuello largo, lograban sobrevivir a los depredadores debido a su gran tamaño, sin embargo, tardaban muchos años en llegar a medir grandes estaturas, por lo cual su tasa de supervivencia cuando eran pequeños era muy baja.
I had this idea because every day my son makes me measure his height telling me that he wants to grow until he reaches the door frame, I always answer him that he must wait, that every day he grows a little more. This made me think that long-necked dinosaurs managed to survive predators due to their large size, however, they took many years to measure large statures, so their survival rate when they were small was very low.
Quise hacer un dinosaurio de cuello largo en pequeño tamaño para recordarle a mi hijo que debe ser muy paciente para cumplir su sueño de ser muy alto. Lo hice como si el dinosaurio vistiera un suéter de rayas para que se viera más tierno y diera la impresión de ser un dinosaurio bebé.
I made a small size long neck dinosaur to remind my son that he must be very patient to fulfill his dream of being very tall. I made it as if the dinosaur was wearing a striped sweater to make it look cuter and give the impression of being a baby dinosaur.
Proceso de tejido / Creation process
Los materiales para realizar este amigurumi fueron: hilo pabilo de colores verde, amarillo y naranja; ganchillo Nº 3; relleno de fibra sintética; dos cuentas negras de madera; tijera y aguja de ojal grande.
The materials to make this amigurumi were: green, yellow and orange colored yarn; crochet No. 3; synthetic fiber; two black wooden beads; scissors and large needle.
Comencé tejiendo el cuerpo del dinosaurio desde la parte trasera hacia adelante con hilo color verde, posteriormente intercalé los hilos naranja y amarillo para crear franjas de colores, el cuerpo lo tejí en forma curva para ir hacer las disminuciones del cuello. Rellené el cuerpo con fibra.
I started knitting the dinosaur's body from the back forward with green yarn, later I interspersed the orange and yellow yarns to create colored stripes, I wove the body in a curved shape to make the neck decreases. I filled the body with fiber.
Para tejer la cola utilicé hilo verde, tejiendo de manera aumentada y creando una curva, posteriormente rellené la cola y la cosí al cuerpo.
To knit the tail I used green yarn, weaving in an increased way and creating a curve, later I filled in the tail and sewed it to the body.
Las patas trasera las tejí solo son hilo verde, son un poco más cortas que las patas delanteras para equilibrar el cuerpo. Rellené las patas y las cosí al cuerpo.
I knitted the back legs only with green yarn, they are a little shorter than the front legs to balance the body. I stuffed the legs and sewed them to the body.
Las patas delanteras las tejí con hilo verde en un principio y luego intercale el hilo naranja y amarillo. Rellené las patas y las cosí al cuerpo.
I knitted the front legs with green yarn at first and then sandwiched the orange and yellow yarn. I stuffed the legs and sewed them to the body.
La cabeza la tejí con hilo verde en forma ovoide, rellenando con fibra antes de cerrar. Tomando la hebra que quedo en suspenso en el cuello, cosí la cabeza al cuerpo.
I knitted the head with green yarn in an ovoid shape, filling it with fiber before closing. Taking the strand that hangs in the neck, I sewed the head to the body.
Resultado / Result
Para finalizar hice unos puntos para asemejar unos parpados y por debajo cosí las cuentas de madera para hacer los ojos. El dinosaurio mide 7,5 cm. El resultado me gusto bastante y el motivo fue inspirador.
To finish I made some stitches to resemble eyelids and underneath I sewed the wooden beads to make the eyes. The dinosaur is 7.5 cm. I liked the result a lot and the reason was inspiring.
