¡Saludos! esta vez le comparto la bonita experiencia de haber enseñado a mi sobrina de 11 años a tejer por primera vez y hacer su primer amigurumi. Ella estaba de visita en mi casa y hubo un apagón como es común en mi país, ambas no podíamos hacer nada, así que le pregunté si quería aprender a tejer y me dijo que sí, ella estaba un poco nerviosa, porque bueno a veces me creen la tía gruñona pero no perdió la motivación.
Regards! This time I share with you the beautiful experience of having taught my 11-year-old niece to knit for the first time and make her first amigurumi. She was visiting my house and there was a blackout as is common in my country, we both couldn't do anything, so I asked her if she wanted to learn to knit and she said yes, she was a little nervous, because sometimes she sees me Like the grumpy aunt but she didn't lose her motivation.
Antes de empezar a tejer el amigurumi le enseñé a hacer la cadeneta, le proporcioné un estambre un poco grueso y un ganchillo de 3.5 milímetros para que no se le dificultara porque ella usa lentes. La dejé practicando la cadeneta hasta que observe que las cadenas eran prolijas y sus manos se acostumbraban al agarre del ganchillo y el estambre. Estuve con ella en todo momento corrijiéndole cuando se equivocaba, afortunadamente lo hizo muy bien y lo hizo solo ella, es decir yo solo le daba las instrucciones.
Before starting to knit the amigurumi, I showed her how to make the chain, I provided her with a bit thick yarn and a 3.5 millimeter crochet so that it would not be difficult because she wears glasses. I left her practicing the chain until I noticed that the chains were neat and her hands got used to the grip of the crochet and yarn. I was with her at all times correcting her when she was wrong, fortunately she did it very well and she did it alone, that is, I only gave her instructions.
Para la cabeza tejió seis puntos bajos en un anillo, la primera vuelta tejió 6 aumentos hasta obtener 12 puntos, en la segunda vuelta tejió un punto bajo seguido de un aumento hasta obtener 18 puntos. Tejió tres vueltas de 18 puntos bajos. En la sexta vuelta ella tejió un punto bajo seguido de una disminución hasta obtener 12 puntos. Rellenó con fibra y tejió seis disminuciones para cerrar con un punto deslizado y escondió la hebra por dentro del tejido.
For the head she knitted six single crochets in a ring, the first round she knitted 6 increases until she got 12 stitches, on the second round she knitted a single crochet followed by an increase until she got 18 points. She worked three rounds of 18 single crochets. On the sixth round she worked a single crochet followed by a decrease to 12 stitches. She stuffed with fiber and wove six decreases to close with a slip stitch and hid the thread inside the fabric.
Para las orejas ella tejió con un estambre rosado más delgado y un ganchillo #0, tejió seis puntos bajos en un anillo, la primera vuelta tejió 6 aumentos hasta obtener 12 puntos, en la segunda vuelta tejió 12 puntos bajos y un punto deslizado para cerrar dejando una hebra larga para coser. Hizo las dos orejas de igual manera.
For the ears she knitted with a thinner pink yarn and a # 0 hook, she knitted six single crochets in a ring, the first round she knitted 6 increases until she got 12 stitches, on the second round she knitted 12 single crochets and a slip stitch to close leaving a long strand to sew. She made both ears in the same way.
Para hacer el hocico, ella tejió seis puntos bajos en un anillo, en la primera vuelta tejió 6 aumentos hasta obtener 12 puntos, tejió un punto deslizado para cerrar dejando una hebra larga para coser. Con hilo y aguja de coser ella hizo la boca y cosió una perla negra de plástico para la nariz.
To make the muzzle, she knitted six single crochets in a ring, on the first round she knitted 6 increases until she got 12 stitches, she knitted a slip stitch to close leaving a long thread to sew. With thread and sewing needle she made the mouth and sewed a black plastic bead for the nose.
El paso siguiente fue con una aguja de ojal grande cosió las orejas y el hocico a la cabeza. Este paso le resultó un poco difícil, pero ella logró hacerlo. También le cosió un pequeño adorno de plástico en la oreja y dos bolas de plástico para los ojos.
The next step was with a large buttonhole needle sewn the ears and muzzle to the head. This step was a bit difficult for her, but she managed to do it. She also sewed a small plastic ear ornament and two plastic balls for the eyes.
Como paso final le ayudé a levantar 6 puntos en la parte posterior de la cabeza, después ella tejió seis vueltas de seis puntos bajos, cerró con un punto deslizado y escondió la hebra por dentro del tejido. El amigurumi es un cubrelápiz con forma de oso.
As a final step I helped her pick up 6 stitches at the back of her head, then she worked six rounds of six single crochets, closed with a slip stitch and hid the yarn inside the fabric. The amigurumi is a bear-shaped pencil cover.
Ella terminó su amigurmi al segundo día pero estoy muy feliz de haberle enseñado, espero ella no pierda la motivación.
She finished her amigurumi on the second day but I am very happy to have taught her, I hope she does not lose motivation.

Los niños y adolescentes aprenden rápido. Hasta el momento enseñé a personas que les gusta dibujar, quizá eso sea otra herramienta complementaria como medio de expresión, la verdad no lo sé. ¡Buenas vibras!.
