Saludos! como saben siempre trato de hacerle cosas tejidas a mi hijo de acuerdo a sus gustos, pero esta estrella fue un pedido directo de su parte, un día el llegó y me dijo Mami hazme una estrella de tela, él le dice así a los amigurumis “muñecos de tela” me sorprendió que de la nada me hiciera ese pedido así que puse manos a la obra y decidí hacerle una estrella amarilla con ojitos como la estrella de Mario Bros porque sé que a él le gusta ver videos de Mario en la computadora y reconocería su imagen.
Hay varias formas de hacer estrellas con ganchillo pero esta es la técnica o la forma que me gusta más , aunque pareciera una figura muy básica tiene su detalle porque incluso dibujar una estrella de cinco puntas a mano alzada es complicado porque todas las puntas deben quedar iguales. Sin más preámbulo les comparto las instrucciones que pueden aplicar para hacer estrellas para cualquier ocasión o propósito.

Without further ado I share the instructions that you can apply to make stars for any occasion or purpose.
Materiales / Materials
- Pabilo o estambre amarillo
- Ganchillo #3
- Fibra sintética
- Aguja de ojal grande
- Hilo de coser blanco y negro
- Aguja de coser.
- Yellow cotton thread or yarn
- Needle
- Synthetic fiber
- Large buttonhole needle
- Black and white sewing thread
- Sewing needle.
Cuerpo / Body
Para la parte central de la estrella hay que hacer dos círculos iguales. Como la estrella tiene 5 puntas cada círculo se comienza con 5 puntos bajos en un anillo. Tejer 5 aumentos por cinco vueltas para obtener 30 puntos de la siguiente forma:
1 Vuelta: 5 aumentos. Total de puntos: 15
2 Vuelta: 1 Punto bajo, 1 aumento, repetir. Total de puntos: 15
3 Vuelta: 2 Punto bajo, 1 aumento, repetir. Total de puntos: 20
4 Vuelta: 3 Punto bajo, 1 aumento, repetir. Total de puntos: 25
5 Vuelta: 4 Punto bajo, 1 aumento, repetir. Total de puntos: 30
For the central part of the star you have to make two equal circles. Since the star has 5 peaks, each circle starts with 5 single crochets in a ring. Work 5 increases for five rounds to obtain 30 stitches as follows:1 Round: 5 increases. Total stitches: 152 Round: 1 Single crochet, 1 increase, repeat. Total stitches: 153 Round: 2 Single crochet, 1 increase, repeat. Total stitches: 204 Round: 3 Single crochet, 1 increase, repeat. Total stitches: 255 Round: 4 Single crochet, 1 increase, repeat. Total stitches: 30
Puntas/ Peaks
Para los picos o puntas de las estrellas se deben unir ambos círculos de la siguiente forma:
1 Vuelta: Para hacer una punta se debe tejer 6 puntos bajos de uno de los círculos y se tejen 6 puntos bajos del otro círculo. Total de puntos: 12
2 Vuelta: 4 puntos bajos, 1 disminución, repetir. Total de puntos: 10
3 Vuelta: 3 puntos bajos, 1 disminución, repetir. Total de puntos: 8
4 Vuelta: 2 puntos bajos, 1 disminución, repetir. Total de puntos: 6
5 Vuelta: 1 punto bajo, 1 disminución, repetir. Total de puntos: 4
Cerrar con una disminución y esconder la hebra por dentro del tejido.
Repetir el procedimiento para cada punta, hay que rellenar con fibra antes de terminar la última punta.

Total stitches: 4Close with a decrease and hide the strand inside the fabric.Repeat the procedure for each peak, it is necessary to fill with fiber before finishing the last peak.
Detalles / Details
Al rellenar y terminar la última punta coser con la misma hebra los pequeños agujeros que se ven entre las puntas para lograr una mejor apariencia. Con aguja de coser e hilo negro y blanco bordar los ojos en el centro del circulo.
When filling and finishing the last beak, sew the small holes that are seen between the peaks with the same thread to achieve a better appearance. With a sewing needle and black and white thread, embroider the eyes in the center of the circle.
