Crochet with me: Making a rose blanket bouquet for the first time. (Part 2)

in NeedleWorkMonday3 months ago

Hi there everyone it’s me Rhea again and today I am going to share the continuation of my blog the other day with making a rose blanket bouquet for the first time.

So since I did stopped at the round 17, I finally decide to make the leaves and the roses.

So first I did the leaves and to make the leaves I just grabbed a green colored yarn and made a slip knot, I inserted the hook into the center of the slip stitch that I did to lock the loop and pull the green yarn into it so that I can start the round 1.

So to start the round 1 just chained 1, ( 1 single crochet, 3 chains, and skipped 2 stitches) I just repeated the same pattern until it reaches the end like this.

And now I did worked on the round 2 of the leaves. First I did make 1 single crochet into the hole, 1 double crochets, 4 chains, 1 slip stitch into the first chain, 1 double crochets, and 1 single crochet and I did that in each hole and to finish it I just made a 1 slip stitch into the first single crochet, chained 1 and cut the yarn.

And now the leaves are done, I then began to make the roses. First things first I grabbed the red yarn and I pulled it into the center where I slip stitched the yarn and by the way It’s your choice where to put your roses though but if you like to know what I did I just made 2 different colors of roses it was red and violet/dark pink and I alternately put them in.

So after pulling the yarn I did 13 chains, after that I find the 6th chain from the hook and did a 1 double crochet, basically the the pattern that I saw the YouTube video was to find the 4th yarn from the hook but i suddenly think to my self that if I’ll do the 4th chain, the roses would be so many and maybe I can get tired of it. So to continue after finding the 6th chain I did 1 double crochet and then 2 double crochets in one chain, (3 double crochets in each chain)*8 times, and then I made chain 2, 1 slip stitch and then chain 1 and cut the yarn to close. And this is the final piece, the rose looks so good and cute because it’s tiny compared to other projects.

And this is the final look in making the red roses was so cute and I also did make dark pink roses it was just the same pattern.

So as you can see the yarns look so much messy but we can deal with that just hide the yarn inside the leaves or just into the roses but since I am pretty lazy I just did glued the roses so that it doesn’t fall and look so bad.

So this is the before look.

And this is the after look.

I just feel so much better knowing I did my dream crochet and knowing that I hand made this one. It looks so cute.

And that’s all for today’s blog everyone, thank you so much for reading this blog I really hope you like it and I do appreciate you all for reading my blog, have a wonderful weekend!

I love how you shared each step in detail, it's super helpful for beginners like me. And don’t worry about the yarn mess—your final output looks amazing, and sometimes the little imperfections add charm Keep creating and sharing your beautiful work. You just got the right colours for the rose
It makes your crotech more outstanding

yeah while I was crocheting I was thinking the red and yellow combination of flowers but I think dark pink would look better with red😅❤️

This craft is really beautiful and the red flowers in it make it look even better and more glorious.

Nothing more elegant and beautiful than decorating with roses. The tablecloth turned out beautiful.
