Hi there everyone It's me Rhea again, and today I will be sharing another blog of mine about making a mini reversible bride crochet for the first time.
Last week I was thinking about what should I give to my cousin because she is getting married next month. And so I then searched in the YouTube and found a very cute gift and it was the reversible bride crochet. I then studied the pattern and then prepared my yarns and hooks for the project. By the way this is the tutorial that I followed, I give credits to this amazing YouTuber her channel is Mini Dolly I am so amazed by her videos and her tutorials are really helpful and very understandable. Thanks to her I did an amazing work hehe.
And so anyway I didn’t waste any time and started crocheting. First these are the materials that I had used:
8ply yarn white
8ply yarn black
5ply yarn green
5ply yarn red
3mm hook
2.25mm hook
stitch marker
Scissors
Yarn needle
To start with I made the head of the bride, I made a magic ring and made 6 single crochet, next I then made the round 2 , I made 6 increases to make 12 stitches. Next for the round 3 I did 1 single crochet and then 1 increase I repeated until it reaches the last stitch, and by the way if you don’t want to get lost or forgot to count the stitches you can use stitch markers to avoid mistakes. Next for the round 4, I made 2 single crochet and then 1 increase and repeated it until it reaches the last stitch and then lastly for the round 5 I made 3 single crochets and then 1 increase and repeated it until it reaches the end. For the round 6-10 make single crochet all across. And this is how it looks:
And I then next, for the round 11 I made 3 single crochet and then 1 decrease and repeat, for round 12 I made 2 single crochet and then 1 decrease again and lastly for round 13 1 single crochet and 1 decrease so that I can finally form the head. I then put some fiber fill, and then started making the round 14, for the round 14 I started making 12 single crochets in BLO or Back Loop Only and after that I made again 12 single crochets for the round 15. By the way this is how it looks.
For the round 16-17 I continued making single crochets so that I can have enough space to put the arms of the doll.
Next is the round 18, I started working on the Front Loop only and made 12 increases. This part is where the dress starts. For the round 19 I made 2 single crochets and then 1 increase again. For the round 20 I made 2 chains and then 32 double crochet and then slip stitch. And this is how it looks:
For the round 21 the pattern is 2 chains and then 3 double crochets and 1 increase double crochet until it reaches the end. For the round 22-23 the pattern is 2 chains and then 40 single crochets. And this is what the dress looks like:
And now I made the ruffles for the dress, here’s the pattern, this is Front loop only, first 2 chains and then 3 double crochet in each stitch and then repeat until the end. And lastly for the last round I started working on the Back Loop and then did the same pattern. And after that the dress would just look like this:
And now after that I made the handle for the bouquet. This is the pattern to make the handle, first I made 2 chains and then 1 double crochet and then 1 double crochet increase. And again the pattern is almost the same, I just added 1 double crochet in the first and then made 1 double crochet increase and then repeat. And again the pattern is 2 chains, 3 double crochets and 1 double crochet increase, so this is how it looks like, you can clearly see the bouquet forming now.
