Llegó el momento más esperado, hoy nos toca revelar nuestras creaciones a todos los que dijimos presente al reto propuesto por la comunidad #needleeworkmonday, ya vi varias de las participaciones y me dejaron sin palabras, todas obras de arte dignas de admirar, como vieron en la foto principal de este post mi gran creación son dos ideas diferentes para reutilizar retazos de tela, reutilizar es uno de los temas principales en mi blog quise mostrar un poco de este habito en mi participación.

The most awaited moment has arrived, today we have to reveal our creations to all of us who said present to the challenge proposed by the community #needleeworkmonday, I have already seen several of the participations and they left me speechless, all works of art worthy of admiration, as you saw in the main photo of this post my great creation are two different ideas to reuse fabric scraps, reuse is one of the main themes in my blog I wanted to show a little of this habit in my participation.

Cree dos opciones para dar un segundo uso a esos retazos de tela que tenemos olvidados, primero hice una cartuchera muy kawaii con forma de caramelo, y segundo un porta cosméticos floral reutilizando un jean viejo.

I created two options to give a second use to those fabric scraps that we have forgotten, first I made a very kawaii pencil case in the shape of candy, and second a floral cosmetic holder reusing an old jean.

Primera idea: || First idea:

Materiales: || Materials:

Retazos de tela, hilo y aguja, cremallera rosada (20 cm), decoración ojos kawaii hechos con foami y pinturas, pegamento, tijeras, regla geometrica.

Fabric scraps, thread and needle, pink zipper (20 cm), kawaii eyes decoration made with foami and paints, glue, scissors, geometric ruler.

Paso a paso: || Step by step:

▪️ Extendí la tela sobre una superficie plana y coloque en el centro la cremallera, este paso es necesario para tomar medidas, en cada extremo de la cremallera dejé 5 cm de tela, las medidas generales fue un rectángulo de 30 cm de ancho y 20 cm de largo.

▪️ I spread the fabric on a flat surface and place the zipper in the center, this step is necessary to take measurements, at each end of the zipper I left 5 cm of fabric, the general measures was a rectangle of 30 cm wide and 20 cm long.

▪️ El siguiente paso fue hacer un dobles de 1 cm donde cosería la cremallera, luego pasé una plancha caliente sobre el dobles, además recorté los lados de forma redondeada.

▪️ Luego me encargué de coser la cremallera en el centro de la tela, es muy simple hacer esta cartuchera ya sólo resta decorar.

▪️ Este es un paso opcional, pero para dar más estructura a la cartuchera introduje un cilindro de cartón delgado, luego hice los ojos kawaii usando foami y pintura negra, seguido recorté las mejillas de un foami fucsia, y también recorté una pequeña boca.

▪️ This is an optional step, but to give more structure to the pencil case I inserted a thin cardboard cylinder, then I made the kawaii eyes using foami and black paint, then I cut out the cheeks from a fuchsia foami, and I also cut out a small mouth.

▪️ Culminé pegando la cara kawaii a la cartuchera.

Segunda idea: || Second idea:

Jean viejo, retazos de tela para las flores y algodón, hilo y aguja, cremallera (25 cm), tijeras, regla geometrica.

Old Jean, scraps of fabric for the flowers and cotton, thread and needle, zipper (25 cm), scissors, geometric ruler.

Paso a paso: || Step by step:

▪️ Inicié con las decoraciones, para ello recorté 6 círculos de 5 cm de un retazo de tela morado, y recorté 30 círculos de 8 cm de un retazo de tela negro con lunares blancos.

▪️ I started with the decorations, for this I cut 6 circles of 5 cm from a purple piece of fabric, and cut 30 circles of 8 cm from a black piece of fabric with white polka dots.

▪️ Hice el centro de las flores con los círculos pequeños, tomé uno de los círculos y realicé una costura alrededor de todo el círculo.

▪️ I made the center of the flowers with the small circles, took one of the circles and sewed a seam around the whole circle.

▪️ Se debe tirar de los hilos e introducir un poco de algodón, luego se atan los extremos para asegurar el centro de la flor.

▪️ El proceso se repite con los demás círculos pequeños.

▪️ Seguí con pétalos, para ello se debe tomar un círculo de los grandes, hacer un dobles, y luego otro dobles para crear un triangulo, ese triángulo debe entrelazarse por todo el borde.

▪️ Este paso se repite con 4 círculos más, en tota cada flor esta hecha de 5 pétalos y un centro.

▪️ Al completar los 5 pétalos se debe atar por la parte trasera.

▪️ Al tener lista la decoración comencé a recortar los patrones para crear el porta cosméticos, recorté 2 rectángulos con las siguentes medidas:

▪️ Además recorté dos tiras de 20 cm x 6 cm y una tira de 25 cm x 6 cm.

▪️ Cosí los dos rectángulos a la tira de 25 cm.

▪️ I sewed the two rectangles to the 25 cm strip.

▪️ Las dos tiras de 20 cm las cosí a los extremos de la tira de 25 cm.

▪️ I sewed the two 20 cm strips to the ends of the 25 cm strip.

▪️ Cosí las tiras a los rectángulos de este modo cree la base del porta cosméticos.

▪️ Ahora cosí la cremallera y di vuelta al bolso.
