Good day my fellow hiveians. I hope everyone here is having fun while sharing their #needleworkmonday craft. And may we continue to inspire each other with our own special project.
Today, I will share to you my 5th crochet earrings tutorial that you may consider making for this christmas season as gift to your loved ones.
This tutorial only takes 30 mins and uses simple stitches that everyone will easily follow. (Yes, I like it simple and easy. 😅) I also decided to add pearls for embellishment to add some elegant look.
Materials:
- mercerized cotton
- 1mm hook
- pair of metal loop
- pair of earrings hook
- flat nose / round nose pliers
- scissor
- beads / pearls
Procedure:
1st layer
- single crochet on the metal loop
2nd layer
- chain 2, double crochet 3 on every stitch (to make ruffles just like on the picture)
3rd layer
- chain 2 and double crochet all the way
4th layer
- (use the other color of yarn) single crochet all the way and lock.
- using the 5-inch string, insert 3 pearls, one at a time (just like in the picture)
- tie at the back and cut the excess thread
- insert the earring hook on the loop.
And we're done! Easy as 1, 2, 3. Hope you like and enjoy this simple and classy crochet ruffle earrings. Have a nice day ahead fellas.

I admire your skill in working with wire and pearls and then to include yarn to make the whole jewellery special. The materials at first seem to be contradictory but I love the finished object as the yarn lends the jewellery a warmth I really appreciate.
