How To Cut And Sew A Line Gown.

Good morning hivers, hope your weekend is going well.
I'm here to show you how I made this A line gown.

Here I have my Ankara material, lining, Asoke, Zip, cotton bayas, stone, tread, tape, chalk, and my scissor .

First thing I did, was to measure out my length from the full material and fold it by two, i ensure it gives me the size I want and measure out my hand pit and neck using my chalk to trace it out and cut
I also fold the other side of the material and place the first one I cut on the other one and I give out one point five inches allowance for my zip for the back, you can choose to put two inches.

After that I cut out the Asoke for the design, for the neck and then the hand.

And then I cut out the hand by ten inches.

After that I proceed to cut out lining for it.

I started with the front by joining the Asoke to have that V shape.

Then I proceed to fixed it at the front part.

After fixing it then I put in my lining.
After lining I used the cover of a cup to trace out circle on the down part, after that I cut it out.
After cutting it out, I used my cotton bayas to Sew it outside, after that I turned and resew it inside then I iron it.

This is the full front.

And now moving to the hand before fixing the Asoke I firstly sew on top of the black line on the Asoke close to the lemon green, after that I started dragging out the lemon green out.

And this is it.

After all that I proceed to join the both side of the gown together, fix my hand, and the hand.

Then I proceed to put in the stones round the circle, after arranging the stones, I had to use a tick material, sucked it in water and then place on it before putting the iron, cause the Ankara is more like a leather.

And finally here is the A line gown ready to wear.
