Ahora bien, me siento muy contento por conocer NeedleWorkMonday porque me permite compartir unos de las actividades que disfruto como es la costura. Al respecto, me crie en una familia donde elaborar prendas o tejer recursos sencillos para uso diario era algo habitual y de esta manera este conocimiento en cierto grado, fue transferido a la siguiente generaciones o en ciertos casos por la observación aprendimos ciertos elementos. Al respecto, no tengo las destrezas de mis familiares pero aprendí lo básico para reparar vestidos que con el paso de los años requieren reparaciones. Además, como les he comentado en post anteriores trabajo en el área de la docencia donde elaborar actividades que incluyen elaboración de recursos donde se incluye la tela es algo habitual. Al respecto, en las escuelas a los estudiantes y nosotros los docentes aprendemos de representantes que visitan las aulas de clases mediante invitaciones para aprender recursos sencillos de manualidades o coser prendas básicas que sirva para su vida cotidiano.

- Tijera
- 1 metro de tela para la falda
- ½ metro tela para la blusa
- 75 cm de tela para faralao
- 40 cm de goma

- Máquina de coser (opcional)
- Tiza de color de costura
- Cinta métrica
- Alfileres con cabeza

Nota: Teniendo presente que el color de las telas serán las de sus preferencias, y la cantidad de tela varía dependiendo de las medidas de la persona que se realizara las prendas.

Inicialmente, les presento los materiales básicos para elaborar la falda y blusa como son las telas que emplee para realizar los recursos. Al respecto, use telas suaves y fresca por vivir en un clima tropical, seguidamente efectué las medidas a la niña y plasme estos datos en un patrón para luego llevarlo a la tela de la falda para proceder a su cortado como se visualiza en la imagen. Seguidamente, se procede a coser la tela de forma vertical con una costura recta y luego costura zig zag para rematar esto con la finalidad de darle forma a la falda. Seguidamente, hacemos un dobladillo de 0,5 cm en la parte superior con una costura en zig zag y el ruedo del a falda de un 1,00 cm con la finalidad que no deshilache la tela y sellar.
Initially, I present the basic materials to make the skirt and blouse such as the fabrics used to make the resources. In this regard, use soft and fresh fabrics for living in a tropical climate, then I made the measurements to the girl and reflected these data in a pattern and then took it to the fabric of the skirt to proceed to cut it as shown in the image. Next, the fabric is sewn vertically with a straight seam and then a zig zag seam to finish this off in order to shape the skirt. Next, we make a 0.5 cm hem at the top with a zig zag seam and the skirt hem of 1.00 cm in order not to fray the fabric and seal.
Seguidamente, se procedí a realizar las medidas para elaborar el faralao en una tela de color blanco. Al respecto, se procedió a darle una altura de 10 cm y una largura de 1,5 metros. Para realizar esta labor se puede utilizar la tiza para marcar tela y una regla que vienen de tamaño grande para facilitar al momento de efectuar las medidas y con ello favorecer el corte del material. Visualice las imágenes para revisar los pasos mencionados anteriormente.
Next, we proceeded to carry out the measurements to make the faralao on a white cloth. In this regard, we proceeded to give it a height of 10 cm and a length of 1.5 meters. Posteriormente con la tela del faralao ya cortada procedemos a unir los otros extremos de la tela con una costura en zig zag. Después, se toma un dobladillo de 0,5 cm con una costura de zig zag en las partes más ancha de la tela. Puede visualizar lo explicado anteriormente en las imágenes que se presentan a continuación.
Subsequently, with the faralao fabric already cut, we proceed to join the other ends of the fabric with a zig zag seam. Then a 0.5 cm hem is taken with a zig zag seam on the widest parts of the fabric. You can view what is explained above in the images below
Seguidamente, se procede a pegar el faralao a la parte inferior de la tela de la falda dejándole 1,5 cm por debajo y así generándole el efecto deseado. Dichos tachones son de 2,5 cm de ambos y se cosen con una costura recta.
Next, the faralao is glued to the lower part of the skirt fabric, leaving it 1.5 cm below and thus generating the desired effect. These studs are 2.5 cm from both and are sewn with a straight seam.
Colocamos la goma de 40 cm de largo por 3 cm de ancho en la parte superior de la falda y se hace una pretina de 3,5 cm con una costura recta, ya con esta labor tendrás lista la falda

Se procedió a tomar las medidas a la niña para la realización de la blusa seguidamente se plasma en la tela y se realiza el corte para la costura. Las tiras que se utilizaran en el cuello son dos de 17 cm de largo por 2 cm de ancho. Y para las mangas dos tiras de 30 cm de largo por dos de ancho.
Se procedió a tomar las medidas a la niña para la realización de la blusa seguidamente se plasma en la tela y se realiza el corte para la costura. Las tiras que se utilizan en el cuello son dos de 17 cm de largo por 2 cm de ancho. Y para las mangas dos tiras de 30 cm de largo por dos de ancho.
Se procede a unir las dos partes de la blusa vertical con una costura en zig zag. Y se toma un dobladillo en la parte inferior de 0,5 cm con una costura en zig zag
The two parts of the vertical blouse are joined together with a zig zag seam. And a 0.5cm bottom hem is taken with a zig zag seam .
A continuación se pegan las tiras del cuello con una costura en zig zag y se corta los sobrantes de los lados. Por último se pegan las tiras de las mangas con una costura en zig zag y ya tenemos elaborada la blusa.
The neck strips are then glued together with a zigzag seam and the excess is cut from the sides. Finally, the sleeve strips are glued with a zig zag seam and we have already made the blouse.
