Desde que llegué a Venezuela, perdí mi ritmo de entrenamiento en el gimnasio, es decir, una semana iba, otra semana no iba, De hecho ya me había desaparecido del gimnasio como por dos meses o más, así que decidí retomar mis entrenamientos; Pero para ser muy sincera ya no quería entrenar con la misma ropa que entrenaba anteriormente, y no porque estuvieran viejas o ya no sirvieran, están en buen estado, sino que al gimnasio donde estoy yendo es de mi familia y me da mucha vergüenza que me miren en chores cortos o con camisas con mucho escote,por eso decidí comprar tela y hacerme un mono o un buzo como le dicen en Chile y Perú, para esto compré un metro de tela de mono estampada, el diseño lo hice de un patrón básico de una licra, con bolsillos adelante, pretina y tobillos elástico. Esoero les guste.

Since I arrived in Venezuela, I lost my training rhythm at the gym, that is, one week I would go, another week I wouldn't go, in fact I had already disappeared from the gym for about two months or more, so I decided to resume my workouts; But to be very honest I no longer wanted to train with the same clothes I used to train with, and not because they were old or no longer serve, they are in good condition, but the gym where I'm going is my family's and I'm very embarrassed to look at me in short pants or shirts with a lot of cleavage, so I decided to buy some fabric and make myself a jumpsuit or overalls as they say in Chile and Peru, for this I bought a meter of printed jumpsuit fabric, I made the design from a basic pattern of a lycra, with pockets on the front, waistband and elastic ankles. I hope you like it.
- 1.50 metros de tela para mono estampada.
- Elastico de 4 cm de ancho.
- Un mono o licra guía.
- Cinta métrica.
- Máquina de coser.
- Tijeras.
- 1.50 meters of printed monkey fabric.
- 4 cm wide elastic.
- One coverall or lycra guide.
- Measuring tape.
- Sewing machine.
- Scissors.
Para comenzar con la confección de éste mono o buzo, lo que hice fue tomar una licra y colocarla sobre la tela doblada en dos para sacar la parte delantera y la parte trasera.
To start with the making of this jumpsuit, what I did was to take a lycra and place it on the fabric folded in two to remove the front and the back.
Luego realicé un corte en diagonal de 17 cm de largo en los costados superiores de las dos piezas delanteras Esto es para la forma del bolsillo.
Then I made a 17 cm long diagonal cut on the upper sides of the two front pieces. This is for the pocket shape.
Después uní las dos piezas delantera por el tiro.
Then I joined the two front pieces together at the flange.
Saqué los dos sacos de los bolsillos, siguiendo la forma del corte en diagonal para las tapas delanteras y para las tapas traseras, seguí la forma de la curva de las piezas traseras.
I took the two sacks out of the pockets following the shape of the diagonal cut for the front flaps and for the back flaps, I followed the shape of the curve of the back pieces.
Cosí las tapas delanteras colocándolas cada una encima del derecho de la parte delantera del mono, en los costados, haciendo coincidir sus orillas en diagonal, pase costura,doble hacia dentro esa tapa y pasé otra costura para el ruedo.
I sewed the front flaps by placing each one on top of the right side of the front of the jumpsuit, on the sides, matching their edges diagonally, sewed a seam, folded the flap inwards and sewed another seam for the hem.
Luego que la tapa delantera ya estaba por la parte del revés, puse sobre ésta, la tapa trasera del bolsillo, haciendo coincidir sus derechos y pasé costura por todo el borde de la forma del bolsillo para crear la bolsa o el saco.
After the front flap was already on the wrong side, I placed the back flap of the pocket on top of it, matching its right sides, and sewed all along the edge of the pocket shape to create the bag or pouch.
Posteriormente uni las dos piezas traseras por el tiro y las coloqué encima de la la parte delantera del mono, haciendo coincidir sus derechos y pase costura por la entrepierna y los laterales.
Afterwards, I joined the two back pieces at the back and placed them on top of the front part of the jumpsuit, matching their rights and sewing through the crotch and sides.
Para hacer la pretina del mono lo que hice fue cortar una tira de 1,2 metros de largo y 15 cm de ancho. Esta tira la uni por sus dos extremos.
To make the waistband of the jumpsuit, I cut a strip 1.2 cm long and 15 cm wide. I joined this strip at both ends.
Marqué cuál iba a ser la parte del frente de la pretina y en el centro de ésta hice dos ojales por dónde voy a introducir mi trenza ajustable
I marked the front part of the waistband and in the center of the waistband I made two eyelets where I am going to insert my adjustable braid.
Después corté el elástico de 74 cm de largo para colocarlo dentro de la tira; para esto, cosí los extremos del elástico y los hice coincidir con la costura de los extremos de la tira, doblé la tira para unir sus orillas, de tal manera que el elástico vaya quedando por dentro a medida que fui cosiendo las orillas.
Then I cut the 66 cm long elastic to place it inside the strip; for this, I sewed the ends of the elastic and made them coincide with the seam of the ends of the strip, I folded the strip to join its edges, in such a way that the elastic remains on the inside as I sewed the edges.
Después que terminé de colocar el elástico a la pretina, procedí a pegarla por el contorno de cintura del mono y realicé tres costuras rectas sobre la pretina, para darle un mejor acabado.
After I finished attaching the elastic to the waistband, I proceeded to glue it around the waist of the jumpsuit and made three straight seams on the waistband, to give it a better finish.
Para el ruedo del mono, corté dos tiras, cada una de 36 cm de largo 15 cm de ancho, en las cuales apliqué la misma técnica de la pretina y las pegué.
For the hem of the jumpsuit, I cut two strips, each 36 cm long and 15 cm wide, on which I applied the same technique as for the waistband and glued them together.
