My Ankara Apple Top

in NeedleWorkMonday2 years ago
Hello fellow hivers, i hope we are doing quite fine as the season is fast approaching, the environment is hovering with Christmas scent and 48 hours from now I will be on an official break for the season. Am @kemfon by name and its actually my first post here in this community. While anticipating the D day, I got my hands wrapped round a needle during the week, in preparation for an event I got an invite. A female colleague of mine at college took the step down the axile with his hubby. Being a memorable event that happens in a man and woman's life everything to make it special is not an exception. And that's where I come in. Not mandatory but kind of necessary to appear in colorful uniform most especially for groups or set of people. So I got the selected material for the occasion and a male friend of mine opt that I should also his dress.

Without hesitation, I felt happy to do that for him. I got home late but deicided to cut the material to shapes so as to ease my work the next day cos my timing was probably short.

The process

I cut the edge part of the ankara material and joined it with a plain black material.

Before this time, i didn't really know what the outcome would look like. After that i drew an iphone logo on a paper, carved it out and placed it on cloth gum to get the exact image, i later placed it on the material iron it and sew round.

Being done with that, i coupled up the rest together with my friends dress and we both attended the ceremony.
