Un Saludo a todos mis amigos amantes de la aguja, el hilo y la tijera hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes, un cojín que hice para la silla de la computadora.
Greetings to all my friends who love needle, thread and scissors, today I come to share with you a cushion that I made for the computer chair.
Desde hace tiempo quería confeccionar un cojín para esta silla, ya que el que usamos esta muy deteriorado, hoy cuando estaba sacando una ropa que no uso, encontré un jeans y una blusa que no uso desde hace mucho tiempo, entonces busque hilo, agujas, tijeras y manos a la obra:
For a long time I wanted to make a cushion for this chair, since the one we use is very deteriorated, today when I was taking out some clothes that I don't use, I found a pair of jeans and a blouse that I haven't used for a long time, so I looked for thread, needles, scissors and let's get to work:
Lo primero que hice fue cortar dos rectángulos de jeans y un rectángulo de menor tamaño con la otra tela; tome un rectángulo de jeans y le corte un pedazo, luego cosí el rectángulo de la otra tela hasta dejarlo del mismo tamaño del rectángulo mas grande.
The first thing I did was to cut two rectangles of jeans and a smaller rectangle with the other fabric; I took a rectangle of jeans and cut a piece out of it, then I sewed the rectangle of the other fabric until it was the same size as the larger rectangle.
Luego uní los dos rectángulos cosiendo tres lados completos y dejando una abertura en uno de los lados, esto para poder voltearlo y luego rellenarlo.
I then joined the two rectangles by sewing three complete sides together and leaving an opening on one side so that I could flip it over and then stuff it.
Para decorar mi cojín corte dos corazones y los cosí bruscamente en el lado de jeans.
To decorate my cushion I cut out two hearts and sewed them roughly on the jeans side.
Para rellenar el cojín corte en pedazos pequeños los pedazos de tela que me quedaron y los metí dentro de este, luego cerré el agujero cosiendo con cuidado de no dejar rastro de la costura y listo para usarlo.
To fill the cushion, I cut into small pieces the pieces of fabric I had left and put them inside the cushion, then I sewed the hole closed, being careful not to leave any traces of the stitching, and it was ready to use.
