Feliz inicio de semana mi gente bonita de @needleworkmonday, es un gusto venir a visitarlos en este lunes de costura en donde vengo a mostrarles algunas puntadas que estuve haciendo esta semana pasada a pedido de una querida amiga.
Su hija sería la reina de primavera y le había mandado hacer con una costura una falda larga en un color lila mu bonita, a juego un body blanco con una nueva tela que hay en la tienda el Castillo, tiene una textura esponjosa y en forma de flores.
Ya en primera instancia se veía lindo y delicado, pero le faltaba un poco de brillo y color. Así que me vino a buscar a casa para ir a las tiendas a ver como lo podíamos decorar.
Aunque estuvimos buscando aplicaciones no encontrábamos de los colores que ella quería, se veían fuera de lugar los que veíamos, en una de esas que ya salíamos de una tienda, me llamo la atención una tira bordada en plateado, con unos apliques en forma de cristal.
Para los colores de la ropa ese le quedaba perfecto, para el borde de la cintura, así tapar algunas costuras, aunque no era de colores. Todavía nos faltaba comprar para hacer una corona y decorar el body.
Conseguimos esas piedras tipo charosky para colocarlas en el centro de cada flor blanca. Para darle color a su traje de primavera compramos flores, para la corona que luego les muestro como la hice, quedo muy linda, igual se las muestro, para que vean como lucía el outfit completo.
A mano fui cociendo cada piedra en el body, algunas veces se me enredaba el hilo y tenía que desatar y volver a empezar, por cierto estuve hilvanando el borde por donde irían las piedras para que se viera igual por ambos lado.
La tira bordada, también la cosí a mano con sumo cuidado y cuadrando ambos extremos en donde iba el ojal y el botón. Tapando algunas costuras que estaban fuera de lugar y le restaban elegancia a la falda.
Como ven quedo precioso y la princesa Aranza lo lució excelente, como toda una reina de primaveras. Por aquí le dejo algunas fotos que mi amiga me envió por WhatsApp para mostrarles. Por cierto, me envió muchas y le prometí hacer un video para el recuerdo que también les estaré mostrando en mi blog un día de estos.
Mi amiga quedó muy contenta con el trabajo, que yo quise hacer, ya que solo tenía que hacer la corona, pero quise ayudarla para que le quedara así de lindo.
Me gusta ver la cara de alegría cuando ven lo que les hago como que fuera para mis propias hijas.

Her daughter would be the queen of spring and I had her sew a long skirt in a very pretty lilac color, matching a white bodysuit with a new fabric that is in the store El Castillo, it has a fluffy texture and in the form of flowers.
Already at first glance it looked cute and delicate, but it lacked a bit of brightness and color. So he came to pick me up at home to go to the stores to see how we could decorate it.
Although we were looking for applications we couldn't find the colors she wanted, the ones we saw looked out of place, in one of those that we were leaving a store, I was struck by an embroidered strip in silver, with crystal-shaped appliqués.
It was perfect for the colors of the clothes, for the edge of the waist, to cover some seams, although it was not colorful. We still had to buy some more to make a crown and decorate the bodysuit.
We got those charosky stones to place in the center of each white flower. To give color to her spring outfit we bought flowers for the crown, which I will show you later how I made it, it was very pretty, but I will show you how the whole outfit looked like.
I hand sewed each stone on the bodysuit, sometimes the thread got tangled and I had to untie and start over, by the way I was basting the edge where the stones would go so that it would look the same on both sides.
The embroidered strip, I also sewed it by hand with great care and squaring both ends where the buttonhole and button would go. Covering some seams that were out of place and detracted from the elegance of the skirt.
As you can see it was beautiful and princess Aranza wore it excellently, like a queen of springs. Here are some pictures that my friend sent me by WhatsApp to show you. My friend was very happy with the work, which I wanted to do, since I only had to make the crown, but I wanted to help her to make it look as nice as this.
