Hola mi gente bonita de @needleworkmonday, feliz lunes de costura, espero que todas las Madres de Hive, así como todas las madres en sus vidas, hayan tenido un bonito día.
Hoy les cuento sobre este lazo, que mi cuñada me mandó hacer para mi sobrina menor, tenía una actividad cultural en el colegio en donde estudia de mañana, como me lo pidió dos días antes y con tantas ocupaciones me dispuse hacerlo el día anterior en la tarde.
Para elaborarlo estuve utilizando material que ya tenía en casa, tela, hilos, aguja, cinta métrica, marabú o plumas, cintas, flores, silicona y algunas aplicaciones.
Ya tenía unas tiras de tela cortadas de otros proyectos y las fui cortando en forma de pétalos para hacer unas flores, hilvanando de punta a punta y luego estarían dos el hilo hasta formar paso a paso, así hice 2 en color azul y una en rojo.
Con otra tela (diopiovelo) blanco le hice unas pequeñas flores. También hice otro modelo de flor con tela amarilla, cortando círculos, doblando a la mitad y pasando costura.
Les cuento que ese día en la tarde no teníamos electricidad y lo que había que pegar no lo podía hacer con silicona caliente, así que tuve que mandar a Arístides a comprar uno líquido. La oscuridad iba llegando y yo en pleno proceso.
Seguí trabando en el lazo, cociendo los alrededores, viendo que apliques colocarle, en la oscuridad, a la poca luz del teléfono, iba terminando con los detalles, que al final no me gustaron del todo.
Pero tenía minutos para que lo vinieran a retirar en medio de la oscuridad. Cuando se lo entregue a mi cuñada, me pregunta cuanto es, pues ella sabe que yo vendo los lazos, aunque tengo tiempo que no me dedico a eso.
Le dije que nada, que solo quería que me enviara la foto de mi bella sobrina con el lazo. Mientras mi princesa Arianna posó para esta foto que les muestro, para que vean como le quedó.
A los días le pregunto a mi cuñada, que porque no me envió la foto. Me dijo que la niña no fue a clases y no se lo puso. O sea, todo el estrés no valió de nada.
La verdad me han pasado tantas cosas con la elaboración de los lazos, que me desaniman, así que mejor los hago para mis princesas o cuando alguien me encarguen uno.
Bueno, amigos, de esta experiencia rescato que el hecho de guardar para reciclar en otros proyectos, siempre me ha sacado de apuros y que pase lo que pase cumplo con lo que me piden. Algún día mi sobrina se lo pondrá y lo lucirá hermoso.
A tricolor bow for my niece

Today I tell you about this bow, that my sister-in-law sent me to make for my youngest niece, she had a cultural activity in the school where she studies in the morning, as she asked me two days before and with so many occupations I decided to do it the day before in the afternoon.
To make it I was using material I already had at home, fabric, threads, needle, tape measure, marabu or feathers, ribbons, flowers, silicone and some applications.
I already had some strips of fabric cut from other projects and I was cutting them in the shape of petals to make some flowers, threading from end to end and then I would be two the thread to form step by step, so I made 2 in blue and one in red.
With another white fabric (diopiovelo) I made some small flowers. I also made another flower model with yellow fabric, cutting circles, folding in half and sewing.
I tell you that that day in the afternoon we had no electricity and I couldn't glue with hot silicone, so I had to send Aristides to buy a liquid one. Darkness was coming and I was in the middle of the process.
I kept working on the ribbon, making the surroundings, seeing what appliques to put on it, in the dark, in the little light of the phone, I was finishing with the details, which in the end I didn't like at all.
But I had minutes to come and pick it up in the dark. When I gave it to my sister-in-law, she asked me how much it was, because she knows that I sell ribbons, although I haven't been doing that for a long time.
I told her nothing, I just wanted her to send me the picture of my beautiful niece with the ribbon. Meanwhile my princess Arianna posed for this picture that I show you, so you can see how it looked.
A few days later I asked my sister-in-law why she didn't send me the picture. She told me that the girl didn't go to school and didn't wear it. In other words, all the stress was for nothing.
The truth is that so many things have happened to me with the making of the ribbons, that they discourage me, so I better make them for my princesses or when someone orders one for me.
Well, friends, from this experience I can say that saving to recycle in other projects has always gotten me out of trouble and that no matter what happens I do what I am asked to do. Someday my niece will wear it and it will look beautiful.
