Hola querida comunidad de #NeedleworkMonday, reciban un caluroso saludo, estoy de vuelta por aquí muy contenta para presentarles un tutorial de mi nueva creación con agujas, hoy les traigo unos agarradores para la nevera, me llamó la atención que mi nevera siempre le he colocado toallitas enrolladas en las puertas para mantenerla limpia, entonces se me ocurrió la idea de hacer unos agarradores de la misma tela para colocárselos, los invito a que me acompañen a elaborarlos.
Hello dear community of #NeedleworkMonday, receive a warm greeting, I am back here very happy to present you a tutorial of my new creation with needles, today I bring you some potholders for the fridge, it caught my attention that I have always placed my fridge on it wipes rolled up on the doors to keep it clean, so I came up with the idea of making potholders out of the same fabric to put them on, I invite you to join me in making them.

*2 Retazos de tela
*Guata o relleno
*Cierre mágico
*Una cinta métrica
*Hilo y máquina de coser
*Tijeras
*Alfileres
WE ARE GOING TO NEED
- 2 Fabric scraps
- Wadding or filling
- Magic closing
- A tape measure
- Thread and sewing machine
*Pair of scissors - Pins
PASO A PASO
*Comenzamos tomando las medidas a las asas de las puertas de la nevera para saber el ancho y el largo de los agarradores. Para mí nevera lo realizaré de 17cm de ancho por 22 cm de alto.
STEP BY STEP
- We start by taking measurements of the handles of the refrigerator doors to find out the width and length of the handles. For my fridge I will make it 17cm wide by 22 cm
*Procedemos a cortar la primera cara de los agarradores midiendo con la cinta métrica las medidas antes mencionadas. Aseguramos con los alfileres.
- We proceed to cut the first face of the grippers, measuring the aforementioned measurements with the tape measure. We secure with pins.
*Luego tomamos el otro retazo de tela y cortamos con las mismas medidas la otra cara.
- Then we take the other piece of fabric and cut the other side with the same measurements.
*Del mismo tamaño también cortamos el relleno de los agarradores. Todas estas piezas las cortamos doble, porque vamos a realizar dos.
- Of the same size we also cut the filling of the potholders.We cut all these pieces double, because we are going to make two.
*Ahora cortamos el cierre mágico a 22 cm.
- Now we cut the magic closure to 22 cm.
*En este paso armamos las piezas de tela y la guata colocando las tela al revés y la guata en una de las caras, aseguramos todas las piezas con los alfileres para que no se muevan.
- In this step we assemble the pieces of fabric and the wadding by placing the fabric backwards and the wadding on one of the sides, we secure all the pieces with the pins so that they do not move.
*Procedemos a pasar costura por todos los bordes, dejando un espacio sin costura para darle la vuelta y ponerlas al derecho, cosemos ese espacio y luego repasamos nuevamente la costura por el lado derecho de la pieza.
- We proceed to pass by sewing all the edges, leaving a seamless space to turn around and put them on the right, we sear that space and then we review the seam on the right side of the piece.
*En este paso pasamos dos costuras en forma vertical para darle la apariencia de acolchado.
- In this step we spent two seams vertically to give you the appearance of padding.
*Le colocamos el cierre mágico, cosiendo una parte del cierre de un lado vertical de la pieza y la otra parte del cierre la colocamos en el otro borde vertical de la pieza.
- We place the magic closure, sewn a part of the closure of a vertical side of the piece and the other part of the closure we place it on the other vertical edge of the piece.
Ya listos los agarradores para la nevera, procedemos a colocárselos y así mi nevera permanecerá limpia y decorada con agarradores del mismo color. Me encantó realizar ésta obra, espero les guste y puedan realizarlos ya que son muy útiles.
Already ready the grippers for the fridge, we proceed to be placed and so my fridge will remain clean and decorated with grabs of the same color. I loved doing this work, I hope you like it and can do them as they are very useful.
