Feliz y bendecido inicio de semana hermosa comunidad @Needleworkmonday. Tengo una variedad de piezas cortadas de proyectos que por diversas causas no he podido concluir, ayer para escapar de los inconvenientes del dÃa a dÃa decidà ir a la gran bolsa de proyectos inconclusos y terminar uno.

I have a variety of cut pieces of projects that for various reasons I have not been able to finish, yesterday to escape the inconvenience of the day to day I decided to go to the big bag of unfinished projects and finish one.
Existe una tela que me gusta mucho porque cuando los proyectos son terminados quedan muy lindos. Tiene una caÃda espectacular para diversas prendas, al contacto con la piel es muy agradable y sus colores y estampados preciosos, es la tela que ocupa este proyecto se conoce como Chiffon.
There is a fabric that I really like because when the projects are finished they look very nice. It has a spectacular drape for various garments, when in contact with the skin it is very pleasant and its colors and prints are beautiful, it is the fabric that occupies this project is known as Chiffon.
Todas estas caracterÃsticas la hacen muy atractiva para comprarla y crear, pero al momento de coserla o trabajar con ella nos da un poco más trabajo que otras telas, ya que se corre o resbala mucho por ser tan liviana, delgada y suave, es oportuno allà usar más alfileres de lo normal. Como acá que estoy creando un sencillo blusón y en el cuello pasé costura para colocar el soporte del cuello, pero para finalizar este paso me apoyé en muchos alfileres y luego bastas a mano.
All these features make it very attractive to buy and create, but when sewing or working with it gives us a little more work than other fabrics, as it runs or slips a lot for being so light, thin and soft, it is appropriate there to use more pins than normal. As here I am creating a simple blouse and in the neck I sewed a seam to place the neck support, but to finish this step I used a lot of pins and then bastes by hand.
Otro punto que para mà es el más incómodo es la cantidad de hilachas que desprende al cortar y si no tenemos como en mi caso una máquina overlook debemos aplicar el común zic zac para rematar los finales de tela, que en ocasiones suele no verse tan lindo.
Con esta tela me gusta aplicar la costura doble con filo escondido en la cual enfrentamos los revés de la tela y pasamos costura por el derecho (al contrario de las costuras normales), luego volteamos y ahora pasamos costura por el mismos lugar pero por el revés quedando el filo de la pieza totalmente escondido lo cual me permite esconder toda hilacha posible. En este proyecto apliqué esta técnica al unir los hombros y los costados del blusón.
Another point that for me is the most uncomfortable is the amount of lint that comes off when cutting and if we do not have as in my case an overlook machine we must apply the common zic zac to finish off the ends of fabric, which sometimes tends not to look so nice.
With this fabric I like to apply the double seam with hidden edge in which we face the back sides of the fabric and pass the seam on the right side (as opposed to the normal seams), then we turn and now we pass the seam on the same place but on the back side leaving the edge of the piece completely hidden which allows me to hide all possible yarns. In this project I applied this technique to join the shoulders and sides of the blouse.
En el ruedo de la prenda coloqué una tira larga para que podamos amarrar la prenda una vez puesta y darle una toque elegante y más lindo, además de resolver el tema hilachas.
In the hem of the garment I placed a long strip so that we can tie the garment once it is on and give it an elegant and nicer touch, besides solving the lint issue.
Este tipo de tela nos permiten crean bellos proyectos, sólo debemos buscar la manera para trabajar de manera que no nos den más trabajo de lo normal, asà como también un resultado final más presentable ya que no es muy lindo una prenda que desprenda hilos por todos lados o que se vean costuras a la vista nada agradable.
This type of fabric allows us to create beautiful projects, we just have to find a way to work in a way that does not give us more work than usual, as well as a more presentable final result because it is not very nice a garment that detaches threads all over the place or that seams are not very nice to see.

Hola @mariela-b, la blusa te luce muy bien; que bueno que decidiste trabajar con tus proyectos pendientes. Comprendo lo que dices sobre este tipo de tela, a mi me gusta mucho este material pasa las blusas de vestir pero no sabÃa que era tan complicado coserla.

El modelo de esta blusa me encanta, el estampado es muy lindo y la tela la hace ver super fresca para salir en esos dÃas calurosos y seguir viendose chic. Además, se nota muy cormecial y para un emprendiento seguro salen rápido compradores.
