Hola amigos, les doy mi saludo y manifiesto mi aprecio para todos los integrantes de esta bella plataforma HIVE, hoy quiero mostrarles el bolso que realice, con recortes de tela, que generalmente sobran de cualquier ropa que hago, y los he ido guardando; siempre considero que pueden ser útiles, por supuesto llega el momento, que se acumula tanto, que quisiera no haberlo hecho; pero cuando esto sucede, es que tomo medidas de acción, y busco darle utilidad a las cosas, antes que deshacerme de ellas.
Hello friends, I give my greetings and express my appreciation to all members of this beautiful platform HIVE, today I want to show you the bag I made, with fabric clippings, which are usually left over from any clothes I make, and I have been saving them; I always consider that they can be useful, of course the time comes, that accumulates so much, I wish I had not done it; but when this happens, is that I take action measures, and seek to give utility to things, rather than get rid of them.
Si usted es de las personas que guardan pedazos de tela, sin saber qué hacer con ellos, les digo que es interesante estos trabajos, ya que, en primer lugar; utilizas todo aquello que guardaste y no has usados por mucho tiempo, y tal vez estés a punto de tirarlo a la basura, en segundo lugar; se hace un artículo que nos puede ser útil, como es el caso de este colorido bolso.
If you are one of those people who keep pieces of fabric, without knowing what to do with them, I tell you that it is interesting these works, because, first, you use everything you saved and have not used for a long time, and maybe you're about to throw it away, second, you make an article that can be useful, as is the case of this colorful bag.
Como pueden observar los materiales que utilice, han sido pedazos de tela, guata fina, y un brujean que ya estaba deteriorado, hilo de cocer, y por supuesto es necesario contar con la máquina de coser, para que sea más rápido su elaboración, ya que las costura a mano resulta ser bastante lenta y nos llevaría mucho tiempo hacer este bolso, (sin embargo, es posible), en mi caso lo elabore durante el día. Sin más que decir les explico:

Without further ado, let me explain:
La medida del bolso es de 44 centímetros de ancho, por 40 centímetros de largo, el fondo y laterales tiene 13 centímetros de ancho, 1.28 centímetros de largo, las asas o tiras de agarrar miden aproximadamente 62 centímetros cada una, la guata sobre cual se cosen los retazos que forman el cuerpo del bolso, mide 44 centímetros de ancho y 40 centímetros de largo.

Cabe resaltar que el bolso va forrado, y las medidas que conforman este forro son igual a las medidas que lleva tanto el cuerpo del bolso, como el fondo y los laterales, en otras palabras, es hacer dos bolsos, uno la parte externa, y el otro la parte interna. (estos dos bolsos se unen al final cuando ya el bolso este casi listo). Para formar el cuerpo del bolso, corte: 40 retazos, que miden 11 centímetros de largo, 11 centímetros de ancho, (diferentes colores), la tira que conforma el fondo y laterales del bolso con las medidas descritas anteriormente, y las asas del bolso con la pretina del brujean, con las medidas ya indicadas, la guata dos pedazos con las medidas dadas.

Una vez realizado esta tarea comencé a armar el bolso, se unen los retazos, de cinco retazos cada tira, (es decir se forman 8 tiras de cinco retazos), cuando se une cada retazo es importante unir e ir sobre pisando la costura, cuando se obtiene todas las 8 tiras, se toma la guata y comenzamos a unir las tiras, empezando desde el orillo de la guata, la primera tira la sujete con alfileres y sobre ella se coloca la segunda y se cose, luego se estira y sobre pisa la costura a lo ancho de la tira, y así sucesivamente a lo largo y ancho de la guata en sus dos cuerpos. Es importante resaltar que al pegar sobre la guata me sobro un orillo de tela a lo ancho, por esta razón la segunda tira se cose buscando que el sobrante quede del otro extremo, donde me sobro el primero, con estos sobrantes no sucede nada, al final estos sobrantes se cortan al nivel de la guata.

It is important to emphasize that when gluing on the wadding I have a fabric selvedge left over, for this reason the second strip is sewn looking for the excess to be at the other end, where I left over the first, with these leftovers nothing happens, at the end these leftovers are cut at the level of the wadding.
Luego procedí a unir los dos cuerpos del bolso, con el fondo y laterales, se dobla la tira que conforma el fondo y laterales y se hace una marca en el centro de esta tira, se debe marcar el centro en los dos frentes del bolso, uniendo estos dos centros se comienza a armar el mismo, se cose desde el centro hacia los laterales de manera cuidadosa en las esquinas, evitando que se nos arrugue, para esto se va manejando cuidadosamente la máquina y volteando las telas y ajustándola según el requerimiento de la costura. Esto se hace por ambos frentes y ya tenemos nuestro bolso, (así mismo se cose el forro).
Then I proceeded to join the two bodies of the bag, with the bottom and sides, fold the strip that makes up the bottom and sides and make a mark in the center of this strip, you must mark the center in the two fronts of the bag, joining these two centers begins to assemble it, sew from the center to the sides carefully in the corners, avoiding that we wrinkles, for this is carefully handling the machine and turning the fabrics and adjusting it according to the requirement of the seam. This is done on both sides and we already have our bag (the lining is sewn in the same way).
En la parte superior, de los frentes se marca el centro, y partiendo de ese centro medimos con nuestros dedos, cuatro dedos de distancia del centro hacia fuera y cocemos las tiras o asas, una vez realizado este procedimiento, unimos el forro y el bolso, para esto se introduce derecho con derecho, el uno en el otro; cocemos todo el contorno o borde del bolso, importante al momento de formar el cuerpo del forro, dejar una abertura que nos permita voltear el bolso, cuando unimos la parte superior. Una vez volteado se sobre pisa la costura de todo el borde del bolso, así como también se cose la abertura del forro que dejamos abierta para el volteado.
In the upper part of the fronts we mark the center, and starting from that center we measure with our fingers, four fingers of distance from the center outwards and we sew the strips or handles, once this procedure is done, we join the lining and the bag, for this is introduced right to right, one in the other; we sew all the contour or edge of the bag, important when forming the body of the lining, leave an opening that allows us to flip the bag, when we join the upper part. Once the bag is turned over, the seam around the edge of the bag is sewn over, as well as the opening of the lining that we left open for the turning over.
Si queremos dar algún toque personalizado, queda a nuestra creatividad; en mi caso en el forro le coloque los bolsillos que recorte al brujean que use, y tres pedacitos de cierre mágico. Un placer compartir con ustedes esta tarea, que a mí me encanta realizar, les motivo para que lo hagan, si no está cualquier otra manualidad que se nos pueda ocurrir, es divertido y así ocupamos nuestra mente y nuestro tiempo libre. aprovechando al máximo lo que pensamos ya no sirve.
