Cuando leí las pautas del concurso pensé inmediatamente en que me vendría muy bien inventar un delantal que fuese resistente para las prácticas de mi nuevo aprendizaje y que mejor que en jeans, esta es una tela bastante resistente bonita y siempre tenemos algún pantalón guardado que por alguna razón no desechamos, bien sea por cariño o por resístanlas de que algún día lo volvamos a usar, ven y te cuento para que usaré mi nuevo delantal.

When I read the contest guidelines I immediately thought that it would be very useful for me to invent an apron that was resistant for the practices of my new apprenticeship and what better than jeans, this is a pretty resistant fabric and we always have some pants saved that for some reason We don't throw it away for any reason, either out of love or to resist the fact that one day we will use it again, come and I'll tell you why I'll use my new apron.
Hace un tiempo motivada por esta querida comunidad realicé algunos trabajos en jeans reciclado y me encantó el resultado, también he visto cantidades de ideas publicadas en la comunidad que me han parecido bellísimas, y gracias a esto me he dedicado a coleccionar jeans para reutilizarlos en increíbles trabajos.
En estas oportunidad vi conveniente realizar un lindo delantal para mi uso, en lo personal me causa mucha curiosidad y me gustan mucho los trabajos con herramientas eléctricas que mayormente lo hacen los hombre, y también me resultan muy necesarias para las reparaciones de mi hogar.
Desde hace mucho había querido aprender a utilizar el esmeril así que me esmere en reunir el dinero necesario y comprarme mi propio esmeril, esta herramienta tiene una gran cantidad de utilidades que poco a poco las estoy aprendiendo pero en el momento de usarlo, muchas veces me asusta la cantidad de chispas que salen al cortar algún metal y es por esto que me pareció Perfecto hacer un delantal y así cuidarme más mientras uso esta herramienta, aquí les comparto mi paso a paso e de como realizar este delantal.
- En total utilice 3 colores diferente de jeans👖, de 3 pantalones, pero cabe destacar que utilicé tan sólo retazos y me quedaron varios sobrantes, las medidas dependerán del tamaño de cada quien, mi delantal quedó de 87cm de largo por 73 de ancho.

On these occasions I saw fit to make a nice apron for my use, personally I am very curious and I really like working with power tools that are mostly done by men, and they are also very necessary for my home repairs.
I had wanted to learn how to use the emery for a long time, so I worked hard to raise the necessary money and buy my own emery, this tool has a large number of utilities that I am learning little by little, but at the moment of using it, many times I The amount of sparks that come out when cutting some metal is scary and that is why it seemed perfect to me to make an apron and thus take better care of myself while using this tool, here I share my step by step and how to make this apron.
- In total I used 3 different colors of jeans👖, out of 3 pants, but it should be noted that I only used scraps and I had several leftovers, the measurements will depend on the size of each person, my apron was 87cm long by 73cm wide.

PASO A PASO
STEP BY STEP
Lo primero que hice fue cortar varias tiras de 8 cm de ancho cada uno, tratando de qué me quedase bien rectas y del largo de cada pierna de cada pantalón.
The first thing I did was cut several strips each 8 cm wide, trying to make them look straight and the length of each leg of each pant.
En total utilice 11 tiras de jeans, estas las fui uniendo con costura recta tratando de alternar los colores para que quedase bien lindo y combinado.
In total I used 11 jean strips, I joined them with a straight seam trying to alternate the colors so that it would look nice and combined.
Al lograr el tamaño deseado reforcé las costuras cada una con zig zag, luego planche cada costura para aplanarlas y que se viese mejor.
When I achieved the desired size I reinforced the seams each with zig zag, then iron each seam to flatten them and make them look better.
Luego le di la forma de delantal, en la parte superior recta y redondeando a los lados y en las esquinas inferiores
Then I gave it the shape of an apron, straight at the top and rounded at the sides and at the bottom corners.
Para el sesgo de la orilla escogí Jeans del más delgado, para que no se me dificultara a la hora de coser, le hice la orilla superior para luego coser el sesgo por las demás orillas dejando sobrantes en la parte del cuello de 28 cm y en los laterales, para la parte del cuello le coloque en los tirantes cierres mágicos para más comodidad si las tiras quedaran largas me parece que representase un peligro a la hora de estar trabajando con las herramientas eléctricas.
For the bias on the edge I chose the thinnest Jeans, so that it would not be difficult for me to sew, I made the upper edge and then sew the bias on the other edges, leaving 28 cm leftovers in the neck part and in the On the sides, for the neck part, I put magic clasps on the straps for more comfort. If the straps were long, it seems to me that they represented a danger when working with power tools.
El bolsillo se lo confeccione de30 cm de ancho uniendo 4 tiras de jeans de forma horizontal y quedando de 18cm de alto, le hice unas pequeñas argollas para colocar algunas herramientas pequeño bolsillo delgado para colocar el lápiz, el bolsillo del lado derecho al principio pensé en centrarlo, pero al momento de estar utilizando el lápiz para marcar o alguna otra herramienta de ayuda siempre colocamos las cosas del lado derecho y pensé que era más necesario ubicar el bolsillo hacia este lado.
I made the pocket 30 cm wide joining 4 jean strips horizontally and remaining 18 cm high, I made some small rings to place some tools, a small thin pocket to place the pencil, the pocket on the right side at first I thought of center it, but when we are using the pencil to mark or some other help tool we always place things on the right side and I thought it was more necessary to place the pocket on this side.
Y así ya está listo mi hermoso delantal, cada trabajo que veo realizado en Jeans me causa fascinación ya que es increíble las maravillas que se pueden lograr con esta tela y ahora adoro mi delantal 😊

Wow, @marlynmont - this is utterly fabulous!! I love the originality and details in the apron, and I love aprons generally - but this is a super-apron! 😊 The contrasting colours are beautifully arranged too - I used 3 different pairs of jeans also in my contest entry, my coat, but I didn't get such a lovely harmonious effect as you did! Maybe next time I'll make a more patchwork effect, like you've used here, with the strips... Thanks for doing such good photos and good luck in the contest! 😍

el jean es una tela muy noble para trabajar y se deja moldear muy bien. tu trabajo quedo estupendo, me gusta la combinación de las telas de jean. ahora a trabajar con ese esmeril.
