Hello Hive
My niece will be 2months old in two days time, come Saturday. I decided to present her my first gift because since her birth all I have been able to do was to give them some cash to buy diapers and support a healthy growth of my cutie
Am a lover of children and love to make their outfits with some touch of love. These cute little things are so adorable and each time you make something new for them, the joy can't be contain.
Although she is still very little and may not be able to say thank you but I believe her guardian angel will bless me for this😁😀❤😊😍.
Here comes some challenges.
How can you measure a two month old baby her cloth size and all that?
Even with sewing, can you handle a tiny little dress and continue to sew through tiny armholes and shoulder 😂😂😁.
I had my taste of all these yesterday while making this outfit.
Checkout my baby's dress measurement in inches
- Shoulder 8
- Chest 19
- Waist 20
- Armhole depth 3
- neckline 2 width by 1.5 depth (front) 2width by 1depth back
- Dress length 20.
I just assumed all this measurement and set to work as I wouldn't want to disturb my little angel.
The dress is completed and even if it doesn't fit her properly she is still a baby and will grow into it.
Am happy to be at the center of our family tree reaching out to everyone in my own little way, assisting both my immediate younger siblings, even my two older sisters who are married still need one or two assistance from me, and I find so much joy that am in the position to help everyone.
Here is my baby niece, her older sister and brother who happen to be my niece and nephew as well.
That's my beautiful first gift, using a part of her mums African print fabric with me, bought some accessories and satin material to do this, there will be more dresses to make I believe, the dress will be delivered on Friday and hopefully we will see the outcome.
@monica-ene this gift you did for her I believe she'll love it so much and it's so pretty I love it thanks for sharing
So beautiful! Babies are precious.
