Yesterday I decided to make a WIP bag👜, several years ago my mother gave me a black shirt with some colorful hearts appliques, because she didn't like it, I accepted it, but it was too big for me. From that moment on I thought about making it a purse, and I cut it and pinned it as I wanted it in those days, but I didn't finish it, until today. I like appliqués and I had to do the job and take advantage of it, and I looked for a way to cut the pieces in that way. Today I present to you how it has turned out according to the modified design.

Ayer me decidí hacer un bolso👜 WIP, hace varios años mi madre me dio una camisa negra con unos apliques de corazones❤ de colores, porque no le gustó, yo se la acepté, pero era muy grande para mí. Desde ese momento pensé en hacerlo bolso, y la corte y le coloqué unos alfileres como la quería en esos días, pero no lo concluí, hasta hoy. Me gustan los apliques y debía hacer el trabajo y sacarle provecho a ello y, busque la forma como cortar las piezas en ese sentido. Hoy les presento como ha quedado según diseño modificado.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales
- A black shirt with colored appliqué (material to be used).
- Scissors.
- Tape measure.
- Design.
- Una camisa negra con aplique de colores (material de provecho).
- Tijera.
- Cinta métrica.
- Diseño.
Process//Proceso
- With the scissors, the fabric is cut in a way that takes advantage of the applique (02 flaps) taking into account the drawn design.
- Con la tijera se corta de una forma la tela aprovechando los aplique (02 solapas) tomando en cuenta el diseño trazado.
Proceed to sew:
- The two flaps are joined in the middle, leaving the appliqués in the center.
Se procede a coser:
- Se unen las dos solapas por en medio, quedando los apliques en el centro.
- A seam is made along the edges of the upper and lower parts.
- A single piece is formed, the lower part is placed upside down over the upper part.
- The sides are sewn.
- Then the corners are sewn to give the effect of depth, 06 cms.
- Sew the edges of the 02 strips of 08x50 cm that will serve as handles.
- And sew the handles to the bag.
- Se hace una costura por las orillas de las partes superior e inferior.
- Se forma una sola pieza, esta se coloca al revés la parte inferior sobre la superior.
- Se cosen los laterales.
- Luego se cosen las esquinas para darle el efecto de profundidad, 06 cms.
- Se cose la orilla de las 02 tiras de, 08x50 cms que servirán de asas.
- Y se cosen las asas al bolso👜.

I was very happy with the result and started the photo session.
It is spacious I inserted a magazine, a notebook, a cell phone, a charger and can fit another magazine.

Although passed the WIP contest in the community, I keep pulling out of the trunk and culminating the projects that were in the depths, this thanks to #NeedleWorkMonday because it has encouraged me to continue on the path of sewing to stock the closet with bags of various sizes and colors that I will use according to the occasion.

Aunque pasó el concurso WIP en la comunidad, yo sigo sacando del baúl y culminando los proyectos que estaban en las profundidades, esto gracias a #NeedleWorkMonday porque me ha animado a seguir en el camino de la costura para surtir el closet con bolsos👜 de varios tamaños y colores que utilizaré de acuerdo a la ocasión.
Since I was a little girl I have liked to sew, I saw my mother every time I did it, I helped her to hold the fabric to cut it, until one day I told her that I wanted to do it (sew) and she allowed me to do it. Since then I have been the only daughter who used her sewing machine and I helped her several times to revise it technically, thanks to that facility that life gave me and her, now it is one of my passions.
Desde pequeña me ha gustado coser, veía a mi madre cada vez hacerlo, le ayudaba a sostener la tela para que la cortara, hasta que un día le dije que deseaba hacerlo (coser) y me lo permitió. Desde allí he sido la única hija que usó su máquina de coser y le ayudé varias veces a revisarla técnicamente, gracias a esa facilidad que me brindó la vida y ella, ahora es una de mis pasiones.
