Hello dear #Needleworkmonday community, hoping this Monday is very beneficial for everyone. Today I am very excited showing this project of crocheted flowers, with assorted colors with wick yarn.
For a long time I had wanted to make these beautiful flowers, but there was not such a relevant reason and this Friday I decided that to celebrate this February 14, Valentine's Day, I was going to crochet these tulips. By chance I got a notification from YouTube, then with the help of several videos I saw the technique and proceeded to look for yarns, needles, crochet hooks and I set out in its realization. I will now go on to detail the process.
Hola querida comunidad #Needleworkmonday, esperando que este lunes sea muy beneficioso para todos. Hoy estoy muy emocionada mostrando este proyecto de flores tejidas a crochet, con colores variados con hilo pabilo.
Desde hace mucho tiempo había querido realizar estas hermosas flores, pero no existía un motivo tan relevante y este viernes decidí que para celebrar este 14 de febrero, el día de san Valentín, iba a tejer estos tulipanes. Casualidad me llega una notificación de YouTube, entonces con la ayuda de varios videos vi la técnica y procedí a buscar hilos, agujas, para crochet y me dispuse en su realización. Pasando a continuación en detallar el proceso.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Lilac, pink, orange, orange, green and yellow wick yarn.
- Crochet needle No. 2.
- Bamboo sticks (04)
- Cold silicon.
- Synthetic stuffing.
- Hilo pabilo color lila, rosado, naranja, verde y amarillo.
- Aguja crochet N.º 2.
- Palitos de bambú (04)
- Silicon al frío.
- Relleno sintético.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
Ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
aum: increases.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
Ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
pa: punto alto.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
- We take the yarn between our hands and the needle, we make 21 chs, return in the second ch, make mp through the whole chain stitch until we reach the first one. There we turn the fabric, with that handle on the needle we proceed to put in the same right end, we take loop and pass forming a mp, then we take another loop and continue all the way around forming an elastic fabric.
- We repeat this elastic stitch until we have a rectangle of 11 x 7 cm, we make a knot and enough thread to work with the wool needle.
- We proceed to match both side edges and sew with the wool needle.
- Then with thread and wool needle we sew the upper part from the bottom to the top through the hole, after finishing we make a pucker of the flower.
- Then we fill up to 1.5 cm from the top, with the thread and the wool needle we sew in the center about 1.5 cm. Knot.
- And pass the thread through the other edge of the top and make a fold that will give us the feeling and figure of the tulip and sew with the thread passing through the top several times and knot.
The leaves(02)
- Make 15 chs, return, pr in the second ch, mp, mpa, 8pa , mpa, mp, pr.
- Turn Repeat sequence pr, mp, 8 mp, mpa, mpa, mp, pr, knot and cut yarn.
For the second leaf repeat above process.
The stem:
- A bamboo stick we line it with green colored yarn all around, twisting the stick so that it gradually covers with green yarn and glue at the end.
- Tomamos el hilo entre nuestras manos y la aguja, hacemos 21 chs, devolver en la segunda ch, hacer mp por toda la cadeneta hasta llegar a la primera. Allí giramos el tejido, con esa asa en la aguja procedemos a meter en el mismo extremo derecho, tomamos lazada y pasamos formando un mp, luego tomamos otra lazada y continuamos toda la vuelta formando un tejido elástico.
- Se repite este punto elástico hasta que tengamos un rectángulo de 11 x 7 cm, hacemos nudo y suficiente hilo para trabajar con la aguja lanera.
- Procedemos a coincidir ambas orillas laterales y cosemos con la aguja lanera.
- Después con hilo y aguja lanera cosemos la parte superior de abajo hacia arriba por el orificio, luego de terminar se hace un fruncido de la flor.
- Luego rellenamos hasta 1,5 cm de la parte superior, con el hilo y la aguja lanera cosemos en el centro como a 1.5 cm. Anudamos.
- Y pasamos el hilo por la otra orilla de arriba y hacemos un doblaje que nos dará la sensación y figura del tulipán y cosemos con el hilo pasando por la parte superior varias veces y anudar.
Las hojas(02)
- Hacer 15 chs, devolver, pr en la segunda ch, mp, mpa, 8pa , mpa, mp, pr.
- Girar Repetir secuencia pr, mp, 8 mp, mpa, mp, pr, anudar y cortar hilo
Para la segunda hoja repetir proceso anterior.El tallo:
- Un palito de bambú lo forramos de hilo color verde alrededor, girando el palito para que poco a poco cubra de hilo verde y pegar en el final.
Assembly//Ensamblado:
- The stick covered with green thread is glued to the flower.
- The leaves are glued with cold silicone.
- Se procede a pegar el palito forrado de hilo verde a la flor.
- Se pegan con silicona al frio las hojas.

Para festejar ese día me hice este ramillete de tulipanes como premio de mi amor que siento hacia mí misma, este regalo me lo merezco por todo el esfuerzo que hago para mantener mi familia feliz, entonces que más que un regalo realizado con mis propias manos. Estas manos que cada día hace obras de arte en, varias fases de mi día a día, como en la cocina, en mi jardín, en mis tejidos, bueno, tantas cosas que realizo felizmente.
I learned how to make this tulip bouquet a few hours ago and I present it to you today. Este ramillete de tulipanes lo aprendí a realizar hace unas horas y se los presento hoy. No todas quedaron iguales ni tan prolijas, pero realmente estoy contenta porque pude superar este reto. Siempre admiraba las flores de otras tejedoras, pero no me proponía en realizarlas hasta este viernes, sábado, este domingo hice la amarilla.
Tip:
The detail is that the yarn gauge is in accordance with the number of needles. The lilac tulip gave me a hard time because it was the first one, I had to unknit it several times, it didn't come out rectangular. Then I made the pink one and made a mistake again. When I made the orange one, I changed the needle and I saw another procedure in a video, and wow everything went well, I did it in a short time. This Sunday I did the yellow one, with the same technique and needle, magnificent, everything flowed very well and I did it in a few hours. Happy for being able to determine the problem, then you have to work with the right yarn and needles to make the knitting almost perfect. I started it at 2:00 in the afternoon, while you were writing this. It's 5:00 pm and I finished the rectangle, I'll take a break to assemble.
Tip:
El detalle está en que el calibre del hilo sea acorde con el número de agujas. El tulipán color lila, me dio trabajo por ser la primera, tuve que destejer varias veces, no salía rectangular. Luego hice la rosada y volví a errar. Cuando hice la naranja, cambié de aguja y vi otro procedimiento en un video, y wow todo salió bien, esa la hice en poco tiempo. Este domingo hice la amarilla, con la misma técnica y aguja, magnífico, todo fluyó muy bien y la hice en pocas horas. Feliz por lograr determinar el problema, entonces hay que trabajar con el hilo y agujas adecuadas para que el tejido sea casi perfecto. La comencé a las 2:00 de la tarde, mientras hacías este escrito. Son las 5:00 pm y terminé el rectángulo, haré una pausa para ensamblar.
I will continue to practice the tulips for another season, undertake, it is too late to make these flowers in series. They can be used as table centerpieces, party favors and decorations.
