THE INSPIRATION THE RECREATION VII: THE LAST BARBIE DRESS
"Without wasting much of your time, let me take you through the journey of how I achieved this dress for my sister 19th birthday but before I do, I feel the need to explain why I themed this dress as a “Barbie inspired dress” as it was not inspired by any Barbie character or any of their actual dresses. Aside from the obvious color of pink, if you followed my post on how I made her dress last year, you will realize that my sister is sort of a pink freak thus I nicknamed her Barbie. This dress may be a recreation of another dress I found on pintresss however, every tiny intricate details especially the color, was inspired by her enchanting personality."

"It's a beautiful Monday and I'm excited to share with you one of my most recent creations. I've had it in mind to make a crochet item for myself since I can't exactly remember the last time I took out some time to make something for myself. A lot of ideas kept streaming in, making it hard to pick out one particular item to make. Eventually, I chose a shirt with the consolation that there would always be time to make the other items for myself or for clients. I chose the crochet shirt because it seemed like the most practical thing to make judging from the fact that I like to wear shirts."

"It's a custom in my part of the country to have special fabric for families and friends at a wedding ceremony.
It makes the wedding colorful and also make the guest feel welcomed. It's a culture and it's not going away anytime soon.
One part of fashion I love so much asides Streetwear is the bespoke tailoring. It brings out the creativity in me.

"Hello everyone! I'm very happy to share my first post in this lovely @needleworkmonday community. I want to show you an embroidery I made a year ago on a t-shirt I gifted to my boyfriend. It's inspired by Van Gogh's "Starry Night", I find it so beautiful and wanted to give him something handmade by me.
It took me about three days to complete the embroidery, and while working on it, I took photos of each step and the final result. It turned out beautiful and he really liked it. I love embroidering, it adds such a unique and personal touch to clothing. I hope you enjoy it too. 📷🪡🧵"
