Here are our featured posts this week:
Hosen und Weste-Set für Kinder. Conjunto de pantalón y chaleco para niños.

"Greetings to all of you, I hope you are all in good health and harmony. I haven't had time to stop by and continue with the post where I made a white shirt for children. The truth is that I've been busy, but today I've taken the time to show you the complete outfit. In my last post, several weeks ago, I showed you the process of making a shirt for a child. It goes with a beige vest and pants. It's a complete outfit that's ideal for engagements, parties, and gatherings. It can also be worn for a christening. This three-piece outfit is very nice, as it's very comfortable to wear and looks great in these colors."

"I made plans to make an African bubu for my client, embellishing it with a pearl bead, but life happened. I was caught up with the ups and downs of life and then I couldn't embellish it before the delivery date.
I was so glad that my client was one of the understanding ones and gave me extra time to finish up.
As we speak, I'm currently embellishing it, but I thought of sharing the outfit this way."
Pink silk ........?

"I've got at least one nice transformation project underway: a beautiful pale pink silk kind-of-tunic, which I got on a rare visit back to my old 50c stall treasure trove in Telese Terme, Campania (Italy). Silks are a 'consistently rare' kind of a find on that stall, and this piece jumped put at me purely for the - raw silk - fabric, rather than any practical aspect like size and/ or shape!"
Un bordado muy especial [ESP-ENG]

"Today I'm here with something different than what I usually share. Allow me to share a little about why he is so important to me. The person you see in the embroidery was one of the most important people in my life. He was my mom's best friend and forever my uncle. Unfortunately, I lost him on January 26, 2022, and since then, I feel like a part of me went with him. There's something I will always consider a gift that God gave me before leaving Venezuela: the only person I said goodbye to with a big hug, aside from my mom and my siblings, was him and his family, who are also as if they were mine. Three years later, I lost him, and although remembering that he's not here always brings me nostalgia, remembering everything he was with me in life comforts my soul and my heart. Ever since I learned the basics of embroidery, I've wanted to do this embroidery, but to give it as a gift to my Grandma Bertha (her mother), I'll embroider other things in the same space. But for now, I wanted to show you this, which to me, is undoubtedly a gift from God, because I know my grandmother would love that gift."
