I mostly try to write every row I do, so that I can rework it... nevertheless does not work every time.
I try to write it down at first but with all the "action" going on, frogging and reworking back and forth, I lose the patience of writing down. Lol. When I'm about at my wits end when crocheting pairs, I take a short break, grab a cup of coffee and it somehow helps.
