Thanks! I know what you mean. This is the first time I have done a set-in sleeve and having it fall at the right spot on my shoulder makes a huge difference. I still think it's kind of a miracle how the neckband brought that low neck up too.
It looks a little funny to me when it's lying flat. I think we're used to seeing dropped shoulders once you reach a certain size and maybe a looser fit, but this sweater is meant to be fitted.

Yes, it seems quite vest-like when lying flat before joining but works fine when it's worn
