La costura es parte de las cosas que hacemos en el hogar, siempre tenemos que coser algo, en esta ocasión mi participación sera con una linda cartera hecha a mano.
Sewing is part of the things we do at home, we always have to sew something, this time my participation will be with a nice handmade purse.
Siempre estamos creando es parte de nuestra esencia, coser nos relaja y permite que desde un pequeño retazo de telas, realicemos hermosos diseños, solamente con hilo y aguja.
We are always creating is part of our essence, sewing relaxes us and allows us to create beautiful designs from a small piece of fabric, only with thread and needle.

Para elaborar esta linda cartera necesitaremos los siguientes materiales:
- Patrón de la cartera
- Regla
- Lápiz
- Retazo de tela floreada
- Tijera
- Hilo verde
- Cinta gruesa, color blanca
- Cinta pequeña, color verde claro
- Un botón
To make this beautiful wallet we will need the following materials:
- Pattern of the wallet
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Piece of flowered fabric
- Scissors
- Green thread
- Thick white ribbon
- Small ribbon, light green
- One button

Empezaremos por colocar el patrón de la cartera a elaborar encima de la tela al revés, ajustada con unas agujas para que no se mueva.
We will start by placing the pattern of the wallet to be made on top of the fabric upside down, adjusted with needles so that it does not move.
Luego con la tijera vamos poco apoco recortando el patrón dejando un centímetro para la costura
Then with the scissors we cut the pattern little by little leaving a centimeter for the seam.

Una vez recortado, por el lado al revés, empiezo a doblar por la mitad la cartera y así empezar a coser por los lados y cerrando la costura con un zigzag. Y al llegar, en la parte de arriba, realizo un doble dobles para seguir la costura.
Once cut out, on the wrong side, I start folding the wallet in half and start sewing on the sides and closing the seam with a zigzag. And when I get to the top, I make a double fold to continue the seam.

Le doy el dobles por la parte delantera de la cartera, para ver como va quedando.
I give it the doubles on the front of the wallet, to see how it is coming along.

Aquí empiezo a colocar la cinta gruesa blanca que escogí como la asa de la cartera, en la parte trasera de la cartera, dando 3 dobles a la cinta a cada lado , para coser.
Here I begin to place the thick white ribbon that I chose as the handle of the purse, on the back of the purse, giving 3 doubles to the ribbon on each side, to sew.

Luego realice un simple lazo con la cinta pequeña verde, la cual cosí y lo coloque en la parte que va asegurar la cartera, realizando con la cinta el ajuste para el botón. Después cosí el botón.
Then I made a simple loop with the small green ribbon, which I sewed and placed on the part that will secure the wallet, making the adjustment for the button with the ribbon. Then I sewed the button.

Y bueno el resultado final con la cartera, que sera utilizada para llevar pequeñas cosas.
And well the final result with the wallet, which will be used to carry small things.
