Me he animado y aprendí hacerle a mi hijo unos cuantos muñecos de trapo o fieltro, así como de otros materiales reciclados. Todo esto desde que formó parte de está hermosa plataforma, donde es mucho lo que tengo que agradecerle, por todo lo que he aprendido en ella.
I have encouraged myself and learned to make a few dolls for my son out of rag or felt, as well as other recycled materials. All this since he was part of this beautiful platform, where I have a lot to thank him for, for everything I have learned on it.
Creo que se me da fácil hacer este tipo de manualidades, porque a lo mejor lo heredé de mi abuelita que siempre la veía coser. Y también nos hacía muñecas de trapos...y me llena de tristeza ahora no tener algún recuerdo de ella.
Hace unas semanas ella falleció, motivo por el cual mi mamá y yo no habíamos realizado ninguna publicación.
A ella le encantaba todo lo que hacíamos, para ella todo quedaba lindo. Y se que está también le hubiera gustado mucho.
Para mí es un honor haber heredado de ella ese amor por las manualidades, el crear con nuestras manos y ponerle corazón a todo lo que hacemos.

A few weeks ago she passed away, which is why my mom and I hadn't posted anything.

Ahora les muestro como hice está linda manualidad para decorar mi cocina, el lugar favorito de toda la familia, cálido y dónde además de llenar nuestro estómago, llenamos también el corazón.

Materiales:
- Fieltro.
- 1 paleta de madera.
- Cinta
- Silicon caliente.
- Ojos locos.
- 2 Botones.
- Relleno.
- Hilo y agujas
- Pintura y pinceles.
- Papel y Lapiz.

- 1 wooden pallet.
- Headband
- Hot silicone.
- Crazy eyes.
- 2 Buttons.
- Filling.
- Thread and needles
- Paint and brushes.
- Paper and pencil.

- Lo primero que hice fue dibujar en una hoja de papel los patrones para hacer la cara del cerdito.
- The first thing I did was draw the patterns to make the pig's face on a piece of paper.
- Luego marque y recorte en la tela de fieltro sacando 2 partes .
- Then mark and cut on the felt fabric taking out 2 parts.
- Luego con la aguja, comence a coser por el todo el borde dejando un pequeño espacio para colocarle el relleno.
- Then with the needle, begin to sew along the entire edge, leaving a small space to place the filling.
- Despues, cosi la figura ovalada que sera el trompa del cerdito a la cabeza, y en la parte superior las orejas como se indica en la foto.
- Later, I sewed the oval figure that will be the pig's trunk to the head, and the ears on top as indicated in the photo.
- Procedi a pegar los 2 botones en cada lado dela trompa del cerdito.
- I proceeded to glue the 2 buttons on each side of the pig's trunk.
- En la parte superir procedi a pegar los ojos locos.
- In the upper part proceeded to glue the crazy eyes.
- Luego con un poco de pintura negra procedi a pintar al cedito unas pequeñas cejas.
- Then with a little black paint he proceeded to paint small eyebrows on the cedito
- Pegue el cerdito en la parte superior de la paleta de madera.
- Glue the little pig on top of the wooden pallet.
- Con unas tiras de tela de fieltro hice una pequeñas flores que coloque alrededor del cochinito.
- With some strips of felt fabric I made small flowers that I placed around the little pig.
