I used this basic granny square pattern from pinterest.

Assembled or joined them with black yarn.

I used 8 ply polycotton bought from.my local supplier.
Colors are pastels , gray, cream and black yarn.

And i used 4mm hook.

I also used this diagram to assemble the cardigan .

I love your granny square cardigan, the contrast between the pastel colors and the black is wonderful and it will be such a versatile garment. I admire your patience in sewing... I am always too lazy to sew so many things together. I prefer to crochet or knit top-down ragan cardigans... less sewing 🤣 but on the other hand they do not look so nice as yours <3

Its an order from a client..just like you I am lazy too..but when it comes to clients we should have more mojos because they are paying 😊

It is crochetiful Sis @rowee22.I remembered my granny top but I left in Olongapo City. Relate in making this with many weave ends to clean.

Yes ate lalo pag paiba iba kulay..need talaga masecure yung ends me mga ilan s square ko nag loose need ko itahi.

It’s so very cute @rowee22! I love that you used black for the lining and then pastel colors for the squares. Lovely work ~

Thank you so much @crosheille 😊

Wow, I didn't know we can as well use the square pattern to make dresses.
Your square cardigan is lovely. Maybe I should give this a try.
Nice work!

Thank you...there are more projects we make from granny. Enjoy crocheting😊

That's cool.
I love it too and I even wanted to share one yesterday but I couldn't finish it.
The major problem I have with crocheting is that it's time-consuming lol

Yes u said it right...its really time.consuming😊

This looks like things we made in the seventies--but you chose prettier colors! !BBH
