Perfect 😍
I love autumn (well, truth be told, I love every season), you're absolutely right about that smell in the air when you know it's coming. I always feel sad in September, the days shortening and everything held in suspense, the summer is waning but the next thing hasn't arrived, and then we burst into October with those sharp smells and you can start drawing the curtains and getting snug and the wonderful aromas in the house from long, slow-cooked dishes in the oven and the start of the feasts. I love Sunday cooking, fat meals with puddings afterwards.
I was just thinking this morning that I wished I had grown some ornamental gourds for the autumn (I have put them on next year's list) and then your post turns up with these lovely little knitted pumpkins, and the cinnamon stick is inspired!
Wonderful!
YES!! You described it so well! It does seem as if we burst into October, it springs up from out of nowhere. I do love the feeling of snuggling up in my warm blanket with a bowl of hot soup…😋
Oh yes, feasts and slow cooked meals I love it all!
Oh how awesome! We were thinking alike. It’s so amazing how inspiration hits us at the same times, love it!
Thanks so much for your wonderful comment ~ ❤️
