Today I brought another little crochet project to share with you and it’s actually something very simple. It was the first thing I crocheted recently since picking up my hooks again. I really wanted to learn how to make a heart-themed square, so I looked up a few tutorials on YouTube, found the pattern that worked best for me, and in the end I thought the square turned out so cute that it would be a shame not to put it on display.
Something I made just to practice, just a small exercise, ended up looking adorable, and I felt it deserved a spot on my wall and a place in my decor. I always start by making the central heart, and here I’m sharing a close-up photo of it. Then I use another yarn color to work the borders of the square.
Lately I’ve also been thinking about testing this heart square pattern on a piece of clothing. Maybe adding it to a cardigan or incorporating a few squares into a simple top. I’m still playing with ideas, but I think it could turn into something really lovely.
I think it turned out the sweetest thing. I attached it to a branch and hung it on the wall, and I even made a few extra pieces to sell and to gift to dear friends. I hope you liked it, and see you next time!

This is so cute, I love the color combo and knitting is always nice
Thanks!!! Glad that you like it!
Woahh this is so cute @silviamaria. Im really not into cute things but this one is an exception. I like the colors used and I agree with you it can be put in a cardigan. Nice work of yours, crocheting is really a skill for you. Blessed you are that you can do the math. Thanks for sharing this❤️
