Hola bienvenid@s a un nuevo Blog.
Hello, welcome to a new blog.
Today I want to show you a great idea of how we can give another use to our scraps of fabric that we have left over, and sometimes they are pieces that are not so small and can be used to make something else and make something with a new use, and then it occurred to me to make scrunchies with pieces of fabric, this is a sustainable idea to take advantage of the scraps of fabric.

(Materiales utilizados🪡✂️🧵)
- Retazos de tela en tonos azules
- Tijera
- Liga elástica de la delgada
- Alfileres
- Hilo
(Materials used🪡✂️🧵)
- Fabric scraps in shades of blue
- Scissors
- Thin elastic band
- Pins
- Thread
(Paso a paso:)
(Step by step:)

Paso 1
Paso 1
I started by cutting out various shades of blue fabric and a white fabric, cutting out several rectangles, cutting them so that they were in sequence, now after having all the cutouts that I am going to use, I will move on to sewing.

Paso 2
Paso 2
To start sewing, arrange the pieces of fabric held with a pin so they don't move and proceed to sew one by one.

Paso 3
Paso 3
So the rectangles were all sewn together, now what I did was finish sewing them so that at the end there was a row of rectangles.

Paso 4
Paso 4
Now it was time to sew the fabric into a tube shape to make the scrunchie. I sewed the fabric in a single straight line and left a space unsewn, as it will be very useful later on.
Paso 5
Paso 5
Once I sewed the tube, I started to turn the fabric inside out because I still have to keep sewing since I still need to make the circular shape of the scrunchie. So, once I've half-turned the fabric, it's time to sew each side of the tube, which is why I had to turn the fabric inside out. After I've sewn that part, now I'm going to turn the fabric over, the hole that I left unsewn, and that's how the circular shape looks.
Paso 6
Paso 6
Here I placed the rubber band with the help of some pliers, and I tied it well so that it wouldn't come loose.
( final)
(end)
To finish making this scrunchie with scraps of fabric, I sewed the hole I had left, and now it's ready to be used to make our hairstyles. Thanks to scraps of fabric that we surely throw away, we can get a cute hair accessory. Without a doubt, it's a very creative accessory. I thank all of you for having accompanied me today. I'm sure I'll have a new idea to show on another occasion. Bye.
