I wish y’all a great day full of much benefit and that together we continue to build within this great community.
This dress is made of An African print called Ankara fabric.
Ankara fabric is also commonly known as Ankara prints, wax prints, African wax prints, Holland wax and Dutch wax, most Ankara prints made fully of Cotton are the best, but however, they do not only come in cotton fabrics.
These sets of African prints known as Ankara,are distinguishing in nature and the qualitative ones are known to be colourful, vibrant and elegant. They incorporate good features which allures people to look out for when shopping for these fabrics.
This dress is for a client I never met, she reached out to me to make her a modest dress for an event, she wanted it flay, floor length with a collar!
Then I delivered!
Materials
I made this dress with six yards of Ankara fabric
A yard of a black net mesh fabric
Lining fabric
Zipper
Collar stay
Cover botton pan and
Interfacing

Most of my client don’t send me pictures of what they want , they illustrate and trust I’ll make something nice of their idea
It’s really nice working on this piece because I didn’t spend time on the lower bodice, tho the upper bodice took a bit of my time.
