Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!
As you may remember, I was working on a very difficult home top for me. After I put all the details together and then sewed it on a sewing machine, I got this:
🙄😕🙈 If you ask me how I did it, then I can’t answer you because I don’t know myself. My home top was inexplicably skewed and looked just awful 🙈
One side was longer than the other, and the fabric was bristling in the chest area.
At first, I really wanted to just throw it away. Then I calmed down and put the top off for a few days. After a while, I calmed down so much that I ripped my seams and accepted the challenge to try it again but be much more careful when sewing.
In the meantime, I continue to analyze my wardrobe. This blouse is one of my favorites.
But this is already very old and, frankly, it needs to be thrown out. But I was so sorry to throw away my favorite thing and I decided to use it to practice sewing even seams. To do this, I removed the sleeves.
I sewed the hem on the short sleeves on the sewing machine and I again got a top to wear at home 😃
Of course, I understand that this is only for a year or two, because any fabric has its own time limit and sooner or later this blouse will have to be thrown away. But maybe then I won't be so sorry to do it 😃

Take care of yourself and be healthy!
Nothing ventured nothing gained. Good for you to keep on working to make what you want and how you want it. I was wearing a sweater I knitted but the neckline is too close to my throat and isn't especially comfortable. I need to fix it somehow. We shall see.
I agree with you dear! Nothing will work if you don't do anything! 😀 very interesting how you solved this problem with the neck 😀
Ты стала отличной рукодельницей. Молодчина. А я вот не могу себя заставить сесть за машинку...
Что ты!!! Я пока только научилась косячить. Раньше и этого не умела 😂
