The inner part is shaped like two elongated balls, it is called corpus cavernosum because of its similarity to the corpus cavernosum of the penis. I knitted it in red, thinking that being a corpus cavernosum it fills with blood when excited. I made this inner part in one piece starting at the base of a ball, making increases and decreases as I saw fit. I filled and closed. Finally I joined the two pieces with a knitting needle and that's it, we now have a knitted Clitoris.

Aunque sabía que existía, supe más de este increíble órgano a través de una charla llamada “Amando a mis 4 Yo”, dictada por la terapeuta sexual Keiber Franco, en la que nos enseñó a explorar nuestro sexo, nuestros órganos, a reconocernos con ellos, aprender a estimularlos, aceptarlos y amarlos tal y como son.
En su charla Keirber nos contó que el clítoris tiene unos 10 centímetros de largo y más del 90% de este órgano es interno, es decir está dentro de nuestros labios menores y el hueso. Solo se alcanza a ver esa minúscula puntita, en la unión de los labios menores, tapada por un capuchón, en la que se concentran las 8.000 terminaciones nerviosas que te comenté.
Keiber Franco es una visionaria y quiere educar a las mujeres en el conocimiento de su propio cuerpo. Enseñarnos sobre nuestras partes sexuales, nuestras zonas erógenas y como estimularlas. En muchas de nuestras sociedades y culturas, esto es un tema tabú, pero ella está dando un paso más allá, piensa que es necesario para nuestra libertad sabernos dueñas de nuestro cuerpo.
Como parte de su programa educativo, quiere tener muñecos de los órganos sexuales tanto femenino como masculino. Un día vio mis trabajos de amigurumis y me los encargó. Es por ello que hoy les traigo el clítoris de vida y lo llamo de mi vida, pues es precisamente el órgano encargado de sentir placer. Fue concebido para ese propósito. En un pasado llegué a pensar que ese placer se concentraba solo en la vagina, pero no, nosotras las mujeres, tenemos algo muy poderoso llamado Clítoris.
Su forma superior parece una horqueta, en cuya parte más alta se encuentra una protuberancia, el lugar con más terminaciones nerviosas, que usualmente está escondido bajo un capuchón. La tejí en color rosado. Comencé por la punta superior y la doble y cosí al cuerpo para darle la forma abultada. Luego de 8 vueltas en la que hice algunos aumentos, dividí el tejido en tres partes, dos partes para las raíces y una para el centro. Seguí tejiendo y haciendo aumentos exteriores y reducciones interiores para dar la forma triangular hasta alcanzar el tamaño deseado. Rellené y cerré.
La parte interior tiene forma de dos bolitas alargadas, se le llama cuerpo cavernoso por su similitud al cuerpo cavernoso del pene. La tejí en color rojo, pensando que al ser un cuerpo cavernoso se llena de sangre al estar excitado. Esta parte interior la hice en una sola pieza comenzando por la base de una bolita, haciendo aumentos y disminuciones según consideraba pertinente. Rellené y cerré. Finamente uní con una aguja lanera las dos piezas y listo, ya tenemos el Clítoris tejido.

Ha sido un gran desafío. Y el tema tabú es totalmente verídico, hay un velo respecto al sexo y los órganos sexuales que se debería desmontar de una vez. Creo que he tenido un tema de estudio y todavía me falta el reto del órgano sexual masculino y el femenino.
Muy interesante toda esta información sobre el clítoris. Agradezco que tu publicación además de presentar un trabajo a crochet muy bonito también esté cargado de mucha información.
