Cutting procedures

Step 1: The African print is folded into two in a triangular shape to cut the front piece.
The neck, shoulder, and desired length were marked and cut out

Step 2: The fabric is folded into two again, and the front piece is placed of the folded fabric to cut the back piece with the same measurement and length.

Step 3: The fabric is folded into four to cut the trumpet sleeve 24 inches in length. The left and right sleeves are cut out.

Step 4: The tulle net to be added to the edge of the sleeve is cut out to be pleated on the sleeve, which is cut out as well.

Step 5: The fabric to be used for the side pocket is measured and cut out as well
Step 6: The fabric for the belt is measured and cut out.

Sewing Procedures

Step 1: The front and the back piaree are joined at the shoulder down to the hip area.

Step 2: Short The side pocket cut-out is fixed to both sides of the hip.

Step 3: The front and the back pieces are joined down from the hip to the down part.
The edge of the dress is stitched all around to give it a neat finishing

Step 4: The Tulle net is pleated to the edge of the two trumpet sleeves to make it stylish.

Step 5: The sleeve is attached to the armhole and ironed.

Step 6: The belt is stitched and turned to the right side, then ironed.

After the dress was sewn, it was thoroughly ironed and placed on a mannequin for display before delivering it to my client.

The short A-line dress is a multipurpose dress
It can be styled as a party outfit and worn casually.
