Update: đź’Ż % Handspun Crocheted Shawl

in NeedleWorkMonday • 3 years ago

Hello to all the Hive needle workers and makers!! I hope you are having a lovely day.

While I will be wearing this handmade beauty very soon, it won’t be today. We have 95 degrees F in the forecast, just like yesterday’s weather. Needless to say, I am ready for cooler temperatures and sweater weather. We don’t have AC so no knitting, crocheting, or spinning for me just yet.

This shawl is almost all alpaca but the very last rows, since I used up all my alpaca handspun in this project. I will try to take a few photos with me wearing the shawl but not today! Too gosh darn hot, my friends!

I will be looking at my notes and sharing my adventures in scouring raw wool very soon. Take care and be well!

Lots of work in that and it’s turned out beautifully 🤗❤️💕

Thank you for your thoughtful comment!

Wow! This is so beautiful, you have done a great job, I love the outcome and the colors combination.

I love it too! Thank you! All the colors are natural colors of the alpaca. Alpaca are sweet, beautiful animals. I hope to have a little pack some day.
