Lo que más me gusta de bordar punch es que se pueden hacer muchas cosas, en lo que estuve probando hice llaveros, letras pequeñas y posa vasos, pero estuve viendo a muchos creadores y varios hacen algunos cuadritos, ya sea abstractos o figurativos, pero también los hay de algún personaje, así que con esta idea en mente me puse a bordar un poco y así empezar a crear mi primer cuadrito en punch.
What I like the most about embroidering punch is that you can do many things, in what I was trying I made key rings, small letters and coasters, but I was seeing many creators and several make some squares, whether abstract or figurative, but also there are some of a character, so with this idea in mind I started to embroider a bit and thus start creating my first square in punch.
La idea que se me había ocurrido es hacer algo simple, un horizonte del cual salía el sol y había algunas nubes y así fue como prepare mi bastidor, hice el dibujo, agarre algunos colores de lana y empecé a bordar, use un gris azulado para el sol, en mi cabeza la composición tenía sentido.
The idea that occurred to me is to do something simple, a horizon from which the sun came out and there were some clouds and that's how I prepared my frame, I made the drawing, I took some colors of wool and started to embroider, I used a bluish gray for the sun, in my head the composition made sense.
Pero cuando fui avanzando con el horizonte empecé a utilizar colores azules y similares, porque es lo que tengo, no tenía ningún bollo grande de algún color así que solo seguí el proceso hasta donde alcanzará y seguí con un color similar.
But as I got further with the horizon I started using blues and similar colors, because that's what I have, I didn't have any big buns of any color so I just continued the process as far as it will go and continued with a similar color.
Pero ahora la idea es otra, y se me ocurrió hace algo más abstracto porque no tenía suficiente material para la idea principal jajajs.
La idea es hacer semi círculos de la parte superior y rayas horizontales de la parte inferior.
Lo difícil es que no puedo definir zonas exactas ya que estoy en plan de usar todas mis lanas posibles antes de comprar nuevas, pero tengo pocos colores o de los colores que tengo es realmente poca la cantidad, así que voy a ir haciendo zonas un poco al azar, y es muy probable que la compra la haga junto con las agujas y el nuevo bastidor.
Por ahora se me ocurrió ir usando los tonos azules, todos los que tengo para la parte inferior, que ya cubrí aproximadamente la mitad.
But now the idea is different, and something more abstract occurred to me ago because I didn't have enough material for the main idea hahaha. The idea is to make semi circles at the top and horizontal stripes at the bottom. The difficult thing is that I can't define exact zones since I'm planning to use all my possible yarns before buying new ones, but I have few colors or of the colors that I have the quantity is really small, so I'm going to make zones a little randomly, and it is very likely that the purchase will be made together with the needles and the new hoop. For now it occurred to me to use the blue tones, all the ones I have for the lower part, which I already covered about half.
Y para la parte superior creo que podría usar dos colores, ya que del gris azulado es del que más tengo, aunque podría sumar algo más colorido para darle una vuelta a los colores, que sea un poco más animado, tengo algo de amarillo, violeta y bastante rosa, pero necesito que todo conviva así que debo pensar bien la distribución.
And for the upper part I think I could use two colors, since bluish gray is the one I have the most, although I could add something more colorful to give the colors a twist, make it a little more lively, I have some yellow, violet and quite pink, but I need everything to coexist so I have to think carefully about the distribution.
También como quiero que sea un cuadro me voy a tomar el trabajo de cortar todas las puntitas y que sean lo más parejas posible, otra vez estuve viendo técnicas para hacer esto con tijeras, y el truco es ser paciente para cortar todo eso jajaj o bueno utilizar una máquina especial para cortar, y no estoy en planes de comprarla ya que esto es un hobby para mí e invertir en la máquina es mucho dinero (son unos 180 dólares aproximadamente), creo que es una suma muy grande para un objeto que voy a usar bastante poco.
Also, since I want it to be a painting, I'm going to take the trouble to cut all the dots and make them as even as possible, once again I was looking at techniques to do this with scissors, and the trick is to be patient to cut all that hahaha or well use a special machine to cut, and I am not planning to buy it since this is a hobby for me and investing in the machine is a lot of money (it is about 180 dollars approximately), I think it is a very large sum for an object that I am going to to use very little.

I have always embroidered with silk, I have never done it with a thick thread, once I did it for a tapestry but it is a bit different...

I use wool because the method with the magic needle is super easy, when I embroider with thread it costs me a little more and I don't have very practiced my stitches haha, but it is an easy method to do with wool

Me gustó mucho tu trabajo y bueno ciertamente, si no es para producir en cantidades industriales, 180$ sería una cantidad un poco elevada. Pero quién sabe, si te conviertes en una gran artista de este tipo de arte. 🤔.
