Hace poco me invitaron a una fiesta de una prima que cumplía 12 años, la verdad desde el primer momento pensé en hacerle algo yo misma para regalarle lo que no sabía era que hacerle, pensé en una blusa sencilla o un pantalón de micro rib que quedan bastante cómodos pero después de pensarlo bastante llegó la inspiración y decidí hacer un conjunto, camisa y pantalón, quería algo fresco y cómodo porqué aquí hace bastante calor en cualquier época del año así que con las telas que tenía disponible me puse manos a la obra para hacer este proyecto y tenerlo listo lo más rápido posible así que, acompañame a ver el proceso.

From the very beginning, I wanted to make her something myself, but I didn't know what to make. I thought about a simple blouse or micro-rib pants, which are quite comfortable, but after thinking about it for a while, inspiration struck, and I decided to make an outfit, a shirt and pants. I wanted something cool and comfortable because it's quite hot here at any time of year, so with the fabrics I had available, I got to work on this project and got it ready as quickly as possible. come with me to see the process.
Para realizar este proyecto utilicé:
- Tela microdurazno rosada medio metro
- Tela micro rib azul medio metro
- Hilo a tono
- Elástica 3 cm de ancho con cordon
- Tijera
- Cinta métrica
- Alfileres

To make this project I used:

Comencé por cortar las dos piezas principales de la blusa para esto usé una blusa con la talla adecuada y corté siguiendo la forma, saque pieza delantera y pieza trasera, luego junte los derechos de la tela y cosí hombros y costados, para la orilla de la blusa decidí hacer un fruncido que queda muy lindo, luego con una tira de 3 cm de ancho de la tela de micro rib, cosí los bies en las mangas y cuello, como está tela es elástica hay que tener un poco de paciencia pero me encantó el resultado y la combinación de colores.
I started by cutting out the two main pieces of the blouse. To do this, I used a blouse in the right size and cut along the shape, removing the front and back pieces. Then I joined the right sides of the fabric and sewed the shoulders and sides. For the edge of the blouse, I decided to make a gather, which looks very nice. Then, using a 3 cm wide strip of micro rib fabric, I sewed the bias tape onto the sleeves and neckline. Since this fabric is stretchy, you have to be a little patient, but I loved the result and the color combination.
Para el pantalón usé también un pantalón base para cortar las piezas, corté dos piezas iguales con los tiros traseros y delanteros, coloqué los derechos de la tela y cosí por los tiros con costura recta y luego zigzag para reforzar, luego uní la entrepierna para los bordes de las piernas también usé la técnica del fruncido con la puntada de ojal, para la pretina usé la elástica con cordon integrado, la cosí con costura en zigzag y luego doblé hacia el frente del pantalón y terminé cosiendo con costura recta la pretina, la verdad me encantó el resultado final.

For the pants, I also used a pair of base pants to cut the pieces. I cut two identical pieces with the back and front seams, placed the right sides of the fabric together, and sewed the seams with a straight stitch and then a zigzag stitch to reinforce them. Then I joined the crotch to the leg edges. I also used the gathering technique with a buttonhole stitch. For the waistband, I used elastic with an integrated drawstring. I sewed it with a zigzag stitch, then folded it toward the front of the pants and finished by sewing the waistband with a straight stitch. I really loved the final result.
