The BIRLIN Hive Meetup was amazing!

Aloha you all!

the past weekend I had the awesome opportunity to attend the web3berlin and meet a bunch of exciting Hivers! And of course, this called for a Hive Meetup! And let me tell you, we had a blast!

a little excuse why I did not record & upload a travel vlogAs I've told you in my recent short video I had the plan to record BTS footage, interviews, and b-roll for a travel vlog at the web3 but it turned out that my camera was needed to record the speeches of @starkerz @arcange and @elindos. And because you never know and these surprising situations often bring more surprises with them I decided to not use my camera as intended and kept it safe. You don't want to have a camera that breaks or an SD card that got corrupted whatsoever. It may sound like a lazy excuse OR it may sound a bit paranoid but that was literally my thought process. I used my camera only for these speeches and I have to say sorry to the people who waited for the promised vlog and interviews.

The meetup was held on Saturday afternoon and oh boy it was a huge success. I have never seen so many Hivers on a "regular" meetup before and that inflamed my @hiveup-europe heart once more. Of course that all came because of my amazing planning to make the meetup around the web3 conference thehe ;)

First, @alucian, @stortebeker and I organized some beers and fritz (unfortunately not sponsored :D) to start a great meetup full of exciting stories, onboardings, and more:

Shortly after delivering the needed refreshers, I started to hand out Hive merch sponsored by @valueplan and the masses loved it :D There is only one photo but it is worth a thousand words:

The group quickly got into discussions about Hive, @howo asked the people about feature requests & a few outsiders joined us and got excited about Hive. It was a great experience to see how the Hive community had such a solid side event and how passionate everyone is about our blockchain.

Rumors say that not a single other side event had such a success this evening. I counted 20 people in the beginning but as you can count yourself - it got more and more:

Unfortunately, I had to get back home in the late evening because I have a very old and ill cat as a room mate. But the trip to berlin for a day was 1000% worth it (as always for a meetup) and I can not wait to see the amazing edits of videos I have recorded :D

Excuse me but I will now name everyone who attended the meetup (at least from who I know the hive handle of) because they have earned the

HiveUP Attendee Badge

(please let me know if you have onboarded or I missed someone)@crimsonclad @starkerz @arcange @detlev @elindos @louis88 @rivalzzz @broxi @flauwy @solarwarrior @quekery @kikihamster @alucian @gtg @howo @stortebeker @bastisvlogs

I want to thank everyone who worked for the Hive presence at the web3 conference (virtually and physically) and all the people joining the meetup afterward.

It was a blast to have a party with you in the spirit of @HiveUP-Europe!
