A (not so) simple choice: WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO CALL IT?
Picking a name for your show seems simple enough...but is it? A quick look at common terms reveals that perhaps it might be more difficult than you thought. For example, take a look at a screenshot I took of the podcasts named, "The Cutting Room Floor" listed on Apple Podcasts.
Each one with the same name and yet vastly different from one another. This is a good example of why picking a name that is not an already heavily saturated term may be worth the extra effort. However, it is also a good example of the fact that having the same name didn't stop any of them from launching their podcast. Interestingly enough based on a quick web search, neither of these podcasts own the domain. Which is something that I'm keen on having before launching a podcast. But then again, I'm old school.
This is a topic that many a podcaster has been challenged by. The struggle is real. Know that you are not alone in this. The key is to find a name that makes sense to you. Sure someone else may have that same name, but what sets your podcast apart from their podcast? It's YOU!

My podcast was called "It's not about the gear" as it was supposed to be about making music, but not just talking about hardware like a lot of shows. I don't think that exact name has been used by anyone else. I may revive the show when I find the time. It was originally on Podomatic and later on Cast Garden. The issue with the latter is that shows appear on their account. It's not like I'd be making much from it, so I wanted to keep it simple. I guess you may cover hosting options at some point.
Great name! It is never about the gear. True in music and true in podcasting. If someone is talented they can make music out of a wood block, a trash can, spoons, etc. The gear adds to their talent, but does not take the place of talent.
Yes indeed.
Lack of gear is often an excuse to not get on with creating. Amazing things have been done with very little.
Agreed. Tech is great to have and use properly, but the purpose behind the podcast is more important. Simple techniques can improve audio without the expense of gear.
