Yes it sounds like allergies. When we lived in the Dallas area, I had them every spring. Since I've moved to South Texas, I don't have that issue. However, there are times when the wind blows something in and I get that same feeling all over again.

It could be that something blows in from somewhere else as the cooler weather moves south.

Back when we lived in the Houston area we dealt with mold allergies because it rained so darn much there. Well that and all the humidity. In the area we live now we deal with a whole lot of mountain cedar issues. No fun at all.

Yep, we've been dealing with allergies that come and go at random times.
