I am starting small and then moving forward. For now I am focused on repairing to publicize my work. That is why I will share with you today my last commissioned work of the day. Repair the ride of a bicycle that broke down due to the time of use.

Gracias a las recompensas que he obtenido por mi contenido y publicaciones he podido comprar mis herramientas para comenzar un taller de reparación de bicicletas. Estoy comenzando con poco para luego ir avanzando. Por ahora me encofo en reparar para dar a conocer mis trabajo. Por eso compartiré hoy con ustdes mi ultimo trabajo por encargo del día. Reparar la marcha de una bicicleta que se le descompuso por el tiempo de uso.
In the first place I was disassembling the rear wheel, where the gears of the bicycle are. As I was removing some parts, I discovered other maintenance failures that were very important. One of those faults is that the axles of the wheels had no lubrication and the wheels were too hard to run at full speed, that accelerated the destruction of the gears by forcing the pedaling.
En primer lugar fui desarmando la rueda trasera, donde estan las marchas de la bicicleta. A media que iba retirando algunas partes iba descubriendo otras fallas de mantenimiento que eran muy importante. Una de esas fallas es que los ejes de las ruedad no tenian lubricación y las ruedas estaban muy duras para correr a toda velocidad, eso acelero la destrucción de las marchas al forzar el pedaleo.
We remove the wheel from the rest of the bike and examine the state of the pinion teeth very well. This is a 6 speed pinion. The teeth looked good but the internal bearings were smashed. He no longer had salvation.
Retiramos la rueda del resto de la bicicleta y examinamo muy bien el estado de los dientes del piñon. Este es un piñon de 6 velocidades. Los dientes se veian bien pero los rodamientos internos estaban destrozados. Ya no tenia salvación.
To continue disassembling the parts, we first remove the wheel axle, finish all the nuts and remove everything inside. Then with a special wrench we took out the pinion, I did it with an improvised wrench that I inserted into the thread of the pinion, the wrench I used was a running tube of water, with a hammer I shaped the tip and thus I was able to extract the pinion that for me was the strongest task. The pinion on the left is the one that was damaged and the one on the right is the new spare pinion that I will fit.
Para seguir desarmando las partes primero retiramos el eje de la rueda, les acamos todas las tuercas y retiramos todo lo que haya dentro. Luego con una llave especial sacamos el piñon , yo lo hice con una llave improvisada que introduje dentro de la rosca del piñon, la llave que utilicé fue un tubo corriente de agua, con un martillo le di forma a la punta y asi pude extraer el piñon que para mi fue la tarea mas fuerte. El piñon de la izquierda es el que estaba dañado y el de la derecha es el piñon nuevo de repuestos que le colocaré.
Before putting the new spare parts we have to lubricate the bearings. For that we clean very well to extract all the dirt and grease that does not work and thus put new lubricating grease. We also clean the ammunition. Once we have added new lubricating grease, we are placing each metal sphere carefully so that none of them escape and remain soaked in the lubricating grease.
Antes de poner el nuevo repuestos tenemos que lubricar los rodamientos. Para eso limpiamos muy bien para extraer toda la suciedad y la grasa que no sirve y asi poner grasa lubricante nueva. Tambien limpiamos las municiones. Una vez hayamos puesto grasa lubricante nueva vamos colocando cada esfera de metal con cuidado para que no se nos escape ninguna y queden empapada en la grasa lubricante.
The order will be reversed when assembling. First we screw the new pinion gently until it tightens. Then we introduce the shaft on one side and screw its nuts, then on the other side we do the same and also screw the nuts.
El orden será inverso a la hora de armar. Primero enrroscamos el piñon nuevo suavemente hasta que aprete. Luego introduciomos el eje por un lado y enrrocamos sus tuercas, luego del otro lado hacemos lo mismo y enrroscamos tambien las tuercas.
The last step is to mount the wheel on the bike, align the wheel so that it is straight, align the brakes and most importantly align and balance the gear changes. It is important to align the gears well so that the bike can run and function well. So the chain doesn't get stuck and we could have an accident.
El ultimo paso es montar la rueda en la bicicleta alinear la rueda que quede recta, alinear los frenos y lo mas importante alinear y balancear los cambios de velocidad. Es importante alinear bien los cambios de velocidad para que la bicicleta pueda correr y funcionar bien. Asi no se atasca la cadena y podriamos tener un accidente.
