The faces of a rolled-paper mandala

in Build-It3 years ago (edited)

I’ve been in the flow for a while now because I do what I really love. According to my lifestyle, I am almost never in a hurry, I have no urgency of deadlines, and - although I have very little money - I do not feel like I'm missing anything. Maybe just living close to nature is the only thing I don’t have yet, so I’m forced to work in the kitchen, at a low table, sitting on a stool. Working outdoors would be for me, not between the 4 walls!

Now I made a mandala that could be hung on a wall or hung in space.
It was a serious challenge because I relied solely on my eyes and my sense of proportion. It is not entirely regular, but therefore not mechanical as well. There is a soul and order in it, which is the modeling of the cosmos in small. Of course, it has two sides (metallic green and pink) that indicate the duality of the physical world.

Since I don’t have many opportunities for indoor photography, I took it out to the small garden and put it in different places to make the background visible as well, a bit blurred.

The last two pictures were taken inside, on the floor, and are not very interesting.
