Insects have definitely been the protagonists of my month of May. The rainy season in my locality, a Venezuelan city, must be the reason why they are more exposed than in other months. This stink bug, as it is usually called in other countries, delighted me with its green beauty and at once my eyes intuit the resemblance with an hour, can it be seen with the naked eye being perched on one of them? Well, it must be difficult to see with the naked eye.

This Hemiptera heteroptera is really a beauty. I delight myself with its trunk, the one it uses to suck the sap from the plants. When turning to its ventral area, its head, thorax and abdomen can be distinguished. Towards the dorsum, its shield shape is appreciable as well as its ocelli. The micro lenses allow me to detail its compound eyes, the structure of its limbs and the pores of its exoskeleton.

Its hemielliters peek out and show small green spots. The edge of its body is perfect and showy. Definitely an insect that delights you to photograph despite being dead. At least this hemiptera was photographed for history.

I let myself pose it on a plant, it definitely hides easily. Its color varies according to its state of growth, for let us remember that it undergoes, on the one hand, transformation or metamorphosis.

As for its classification, it is an arthropod, insect, hemiptera of the heteropteran type. It belongs to the Pentatomidae family and I have found it difficult to reach the genus. I could say that it belongs to the genus Acrosternum currently Chinavia because I could not distinguish the three clear spots on the thorax of the genus Nezara. According to @abneagro it belongs to the genus Loxa and I trust your expertise.

The truth is that both are characterized by emitting an unpleasant odor that is emitted from the glands found in the mesothorax, a defense mechanism? Possibly. I should note as always that the images were captured with macro and micro (60x) lenses adapted to my Huawei P20 mobile device and edited in Microsoft power point.
