Mostrar a los grupos animales y vegetales para mi es motivo de alegría, pues se trata de dar a conocer la belleza de nuestro planeta. Hoy mientras nadaba encontré en la piscina este verde saltamontes, desafortunadamente muerto, pero hoy nos servirá para a través de la macrofotografía mostrar algunos interesantes rasgos de esta familia taxonómica.
Showing animal and plant groups is for me a source of joy, because it is about showing the beauty of our planet. Today while swimming I found this green grasshopper in the pool, unfortunately dead, but today it will serve us through macro photography to show some interesting features of this taxonomic family.
Como ya hemos hablado, un insecto está dividido en tres tagmas: cabeza, torax y abdomen y este ejemplar la muestra. Su coloración verdosa es realmente hermosa y al tomar las fotografías pareciera que sus alas tienen las nervaduras de una hoja, y el verde es debido a la presencia de los cloroplastos.
As we have already talked about, an insect is divided into three tagma: head, thorax and abdomen and this specimen shows it. Its greenish colouration is really beautiful and when taking the photographs it looks like its wings have the veins of a leaf, and the green is due to the presence of chloroplasts.
A estos y langostas, les tengo algo de miedo, además que creo sería bastante difícil fotografiarlos vivos pues simplemente volaría. Como buen ortóptero muestra excelentes patas traseras, de las 6 que poseen para saltar y escapar ante cualquier amenaza.
I am a bit afraid of these locusts, and I think it would be quite difficult to photograph them alive as they would simply fly away. As a good orthopteran, they show excellent hind legs, out of the 6 they have to jump and escape from any threat.

Las mismas han sido posteriormente editadas en Microsoft Power Point para presentarlas en esta publicación. Los insectos son un grupo animal bastante adaptado a las presiones selectivas que, mantienen importantes funciones en los ecosistemas terrestres.

En este caso hablamos de un individuo mordedor y/o masticador, con mandíbulas fuertes, el labro que protege la boca y maxilas que son hábiles para manipular.

Su pronoto- tórax se ve bastante desarrollado y al estudiar sus extremidades o patas notamos la presencia de coxa, trocánter, fémur, tibia y tarsos. Al final de su abdomen se aprecia la placa subgenital. Sus alas, las primeras, rígidas y rectas son de color verde y las tegminas se proyectan mucho más allá del abdomen.

Este tipo de insectos puede ser visto como una plaga a nivel de la agricultura; sin embargo, no han modificado el ambiente a sus necesidades, han acabado con los ecosistemas, ni cambiado las condiciones del suelo… sólo tienen un nicho y buscan cumplirlo.
This type of insect can be seen as a pest at the agricultural level; however, they have not modified the environment to their needs, they have not destroyed ecosystems, nor have they changed soil conditions... they only have a niche and they seek to fulfil it.
